So, all Ribena Plus is a no-no?

Some have no citric acid in them specifically, and some added vitamin c which doesn't contain citric acid - but there's some fruit juice in both? I'm not sure of the concentration but I imagine it's fairly high. Just double checking because I miss my squash and the water flavourings don't really cut it :(

Yeah Red, I agree, the flavoured powders don't really quite cut it - I rarely have them now :-( Have you checked the carb content of the squashes too? As far as I understand it, if they have no citric acid and no carbs, then we can have them. It would be fantastic if someone discovered one that we could have, not all day every day, but maybe to replace my much-missed glass of wine in the evening (ha ha) !!!

Ribena plus is ok to have :)

I just had an epiphany... so went and googled black currants - and they have naturally occurring citric acid in. So although Ribena plus does not list it as an additional ingredient, be aware it's in those tasty little black currants anyway. Sad now :-(
