So Far So Good!

    Day 1 of SS and so far so good.

    I have had a chocolate shake hot which was yummy, a vanilla shake and a chicken and mushroom soup.

    I am aiming to drink 4 litres of water and am quite close to my target.

    Can I have chewing gum?

    Hope tomorrow goes aswell as today. Fingers crossed

    Well done on starting the SS program.

    I have been SSing now for 5 weeks and have lost 38lbs, so I'm sure you'll experience some great losses.

    For me the 2nd and 3rd days were much harder than the first.

    As for the gum, you are not allowed to have any while SSing. (doing so can affect ketosis apparently; correct me someone if I am wrong on this.)

    Good luck and look forward to seeing how you do at your first weigh in.:)

    Well done on a good day one!
    Its very satisfying to beat the cravings and get to the end of a day isn't it?

    I found the first day really hard, well done on getting through it :)

    I'm only on day 3 but it is getting easier, don't feel hungry like i did the first couple of days.

    Well done on getting through the first day. The second day was hard for me but today has been a breeze really. Keep it up.

    Well done on starting cd hope it all goes well.
    As for the gum...I've been posting away all cocky saying how I chew gum everyday and drink coke zero without it affecting my weight loss. I've just been reading a thread about coke zero where someone has posted that they too drink the stuff every day and have been losing. But last week they didn't have any and instead of losing the average 3lbs that she usually does she's lost over 8lbs. So that is a lesson learned for me! I'm going to stay off the gum and the coke zero from now on!!
