soda water?

am i allowed it? just got a bottle from tescos, spoke to the lady at the chemist regarding my shakes and just thought i would double check with her about the water and she said no i am only allowed still water i thought i had saw something on here about soda water,wanted to check before i drink it

I drink soda water all the time, it's just carbonated, as long as it's not flavoured you're fine hun. enjoy it!!!

Is it tesco's own make? i didnt know it had salt in it but i've had it since i started LT & i dont think it's slowed my weightloss or anything. I think it's fine, i suppose all water can have traces of salt (or is that just me being a bit dim?)

yes it is tesco soda water, says on the back that it has carbonated water 'obviously' lol sodium bicarbonate and salt,

fat 0
saturates 0
salt trace 1%

not sure if the woman at the chemist knows what she is talking about as it says on the bag u can have carbonated water which is what this is isnt it,dunno what sodium bicarbonate is lol is that what makes it fizzy?

Here ya go....explained below. I think were allowed Natural Sparkling Spring water but Soda water seems to have the salt apparently...

In the past, soda water, also known as club soda, was produced in the home by "charging" a refillable seltzer bottle by filling it with water and then adding carbon dioxide. Club soda may be identical to plain carbonated water or it may contain a small amount of table salt, sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, potassium sulfate, or disodium phosphate, depending on the bottler. These additives are included to emulate the slightly salty taste of homemade soda water

ok so i think i wont drink it just to be on the safe side lol as we arent supposed to have salt are we.. thankyou for finding out that info for me, very helpful
