Im soooo frustrated at the moment - I decided a few days ago that I wanted to do CD as every other diet I ve tried so far hasnt worked.

I contacted my nearest CDC but she is away for the bank hol {how dare she have a life lol!} so the days are passing by and im dying to get started and shift some weight - I ve a wedding to go to in Oct & in an ideal world need to shift 7 stone to be at my target weight so I need to get a move on.

Well I know there isnt anything I can do until she is back but just thought Id try and get rid of some of my frustration

Arrrgh !................................feeling better x

So frustrating isn't it. I know...I'm the type of person that decides I want to do something, and can't believe it didn't start the day before.

There are things you can do though while you wait.

Weigh, measure (everything!!), take photos and start reducing your carbs and increasing your water.

It will make the transition into ketosis so much easier. Do weigh before you reduce your carbs though as you'll lose quite a lot in those first few days.

Best of luck and hope you manage to get started soon.

Thanks for the tips / advice hun - will prob take a few pics tomorrow and hopefully be able to start CD within the next few days.

Will hop on the scales in the morning and fingers crossed it'll be a downward trend from tomorrow onwards !

Thanks x

I know how frustrating the wait is but I think my whole one week wait was actually really good for me, it gave me time to really decide that this was the right thing for me. but I should have used the time to reduce my carbs and stop the initial side effects but I wasn't that bright. Try and reduce them now and you will just slip easily into ketosis and you won't look back, I promise.
