I agree with Cheeky about the black abd white, you could totally rock that and accessorise with Red. Also love the red one, not so keen on the aqua one yet normally I love that colour. Kelly Brooke did a 50s range for New Look last year, maybe worth checking out eBay x
 
I need to make a big batch of chilli and a curry too! Lacking in handy frozen portions at the moment. Been craving curry for a while so might buy stuff tomorrow to make a nice, big fat one on Friday on a NON fast day ;)

I honestly think you would rock a bin bag :p So yeah, those dresses would be awesome!

Gizmo - Vivienne of Holloway have great stuff but waaay outta my budget :D Hellbunny was one of the ones I post actually- really nice!
I remember how awkward having to pull the arm rest up on flights was, especially next to co-workers or strangers... :/

Summer - I had a black polkadot dress once (when I was at my biggest!) and now I think I'd like a more colourful one now so I can stand out a bit :D maybe a white one with red polka dots, or vice versa! I sorta liked the turquoise one but wasnt sure... think the colour wouldn't suit me, but saw one in that shape but red and didn't like it really!

None of them quite hit the nail with what I'm after but I think once I go to camden and start trying some on I'll be excited ;) can never really tell what I like and don't until it's on!
Definitely a pinched waist thing, but not sure I can get away with the cut off arms as in the above two pics here^ sort of frames my arms to look bulkier I think.

I'm going to give it until early March before I order anything or look in Camden as I'm hoping in the 1.5 months I can get into a 12 :) starting to squeeze into some! Needed to use all my syns and have some EE days this week to get back into things, really hard after a break, isn't it?! Dubai kicked me out of my post xmas zone (which had already taken time to get into!) and probably will when I go at the end of the month again!

Holy crapoly!!! Mid week WI was absolutely awesome! 9LBS OFF!!!!

So in 3 days I lost my 6lbs gain (most probably from *week and flight water retention) and 3lbs more!!! OMG :D 13st 8lbs!

Not only am I just 2lbs away from HEALTHY BMI (!!!) but also just 4lbs away from my 7st award and first goal!!!
I feel awesome as I was sh*tting myself that the gain was actually partly just from a few goodies away, and that thus I would have to be more careful when I get to the maintaining phase... But I did sooo much walking out there too!

Also exercise when on period is meant to be even more worthwhile for how much fat you burn, so maybe that contributed :D I havent been this active all year!

Right, am going to cellebrate with another kettle bell work out (3rd this week and yesterday I did half an hr of gentle weight lifting on my rest day) then drinks and take away with friends later ;)

I wouldn't worry too much about eating out occasionally or when you're away on shoots. Because you know you can lose it again well within a week or two :) I wouldn't worry!

I love the polka dot dresses. Not sure on the white ones tho. I'm not a fan of white tbh. I really do think you would suit a red one though. Most definitely!

It's fantastic all the exercise you're doing. Be careful you don't get scary muscles :p xx

Am really glad I xan safely have some nice things while away- though both this dubai trip and Paris were both followed by a big fat post period loss, not sure how it would work on a normal week ;) but they were boosted losses compared to normal so probably the walking helped a lot!

Have been practically unable to use stairs today due to ache still so no kettle bell for me but might try some exerbeat instead :) maybe an arm targetting one and will try hold the small weights as I play it!
 
NINE POUNDS!!!! HOLY CRAP!! What a fantastic loss, that 7st award is yours very soon I know it! Must have been such a relief after the unexpected gain.

At least you know now not to worry when you go away. I think you'll be great at the maintenance lark as you know when you need a treat, but at the same time can get straight back on plan after without any problems. Just like a 'normal' person would, you've cracked it! :)

LOVE those vintage dresses, gorgeous! I've bookmarked some of those sites in my 'skinny clothes' folder, I'll be one well dressed skinnie minnie! :D xx

I am a bit worried about maintaining just because recently I've realised just how hard it is to be half on, half off plan! I find it easy to be fully on plan but when I introduce some slack it si easily becomes overly naughty! I think I'd bee too scared to ever let he weight creep back on though :p

At least only had two meals though so balances out a tad...! Low cal day tomorrow, sooo little food in the house though! Desperately need to do a shop.
 
Decided to try a Fasting day inspired by Cheeky :D have done some 600cal ones but today am going to try for 500cal proper one and calculate it all properly!!

Didn't have breakfast, just 2 cups of green tea with splenda (6 cal), a relative of mine who does fasting said that it kinda goes against the standard rules of 'eat breakfast to kick your metabolism into gear'- I can't find more info on this but decided to see how long I could go without in the morning and I just ate a big lunch now at around 2.15pm; I MFP'd the values for the 3 portion meal and it came to about 300cal for the meal, so I have just under 200cal for this evening:

^So the 'Lunch' is 3 portions = 277 cal, the 'breakfast' was actually just added to lunch but not to be divided by 3, so kept that seperate.
So Lunch total was 314cal - am stuffed!! Spicy chicken with lots of lettuce and veg, yum.
For dinner I've got a cauliflower, am going to try making cauliflower rice (you blend the cauli first then fry it) will be interesting to see how that works out.
Feeling positive :D and stuffed! Amazing that a 300cal lunch could be so filling! And since it is nearly 3pm I should be good to just have a small dinner :) am drinking squash too so guess I should allow some calories for that also.

Really interesting logging it all and seeing the calories of veg and stuff! I looked up the calories for grapes and it's like over 100cal for a CUP of grapes!! I demolish a whole punnet of those (sometimes two!) in the cinema in like ten minutes without even thinking- probably 350cal per punnet then!?
Cool that courgette is so low cal, I guess it is mainly water. But onions are quite a lot!

Got a message asking to meet up from this guy I dated, Adam, who I was quite obsessed with back in the day (we didn't really 'date', just... went on some dates and went clubbing with a group together after them and would kiss a bit, but I was sooo into him and nothing really happened- ended up hearing he was chatting to 'some girl he likes' at a club we were at together once so I got upset and dropped it there!) anyway- he messaged asking to hang out and chat websites as he's a web designer and last time I bumped into him (Halloween- yeah, that guy!) he said he'd be interested in making us a website for our photography company. We could really do with one! Our attempts at making one ourselves have kinda sucked!
I'm meeting him on Thurs for lunch now, looking forward to it as he was a really nice guy and I'd like to hear about his recent Japan travels as we plan to go there, but I told G and he wasn't thrilled! Understandable I guess, but it seems like G isn't really cool with me spending ANY time with guys at all these days :/ he really dislikes my friend Sol as he is convinced he is in love with me or something. I sympathise but at the same time it's really annoying as that guy is a really good friend of mine and I just want to hang out with him and G and others but it's always so awkward when G is around him, really really tense (he was over last night with Dan, who G doesn't mind luckily!). I don't want the drama, so I'm not going to rush to invite him over again but this sort of thing's been happening a fair bit and it's getting to me... I've always had better friendships with guys and for the first 18 months with G I didn't really see my guy friends (or many of my friends, really) much... Now that I want to have a social life again it seems to be problematic :( he knows I am committed to him but he doesn't trust them.

I'm not one to sit back and let my partner control me, but I can tell he is trying not to restrict me, but I can also tell it is upsetting him so I need to find a balance somehow... Thoughts? I've discussed this a LOT with him but I can't expect him to switch off the fact it bothers him... and trying to get him to bond with my 'problematic' male friends hasn't worked at all! It's painfully tense!

G and I are just watching the last ep of series 1 Breaking Bad (started watching a few days ago and really like it! So late getting on that wagon haha) then we're going to go upstairs and look at travel plans a bit! It's so sunny today and the sun was pouring onto the bed earlier, really nice :)
Def plan on getting a 30 min work out in today! Am feeling a bit less achey so I'm going to push through it. Yesterday I was so drained, couldn't face it! Found it hard enough to socialise :|

Next week we're planning to go to the Harry Potter studio tour at Warner Brothers- YAY :D G was going to surprise me but thought I'd work it out with the sat nav address anyway (it's REALLY close to where my mum used to live, near Watford) really looking forward to that, am such a Potter nerd :D

I'm a miserable 21 st something at the moment and have a goal of 13st 7lbs (Healthy BMI) so have a heck of a way to go!

Looks like you're into similar stuff as me too- I <3 vintage style dresses. Have you looked on Queen of Holloway?

It must be so difficult for G to have these issues with your guy friends. It would be nice if he could settle. I mean even if he doesn't trust them, surely he should trust that you wouldn't let anything happen even if one of them did try it on? Not saying they would, coz they're your mates, just probably G's worst case scenario. Silly boys. Honestly :rolleyes:

Excellent about what you managed to have for 300 cals! My plan is to keep each meal around 200cals so I have calories left in the evening for a little treat :)
I need to start researching for more evening meal ideas. Tempted to get the veggie 5:2 diet book, but it's a little pricey. Quite cheap on Kindle tho - which is odd! Might have a look in the charity shops on Tuesday. LOADS of diet books are destined for charity shops ;) xx

hey hun, that's a tough one with G. I guess I can understand him feeling a little threatened, I mean you said yourself that you used to have a huge thing for him. If you were in his shoes you'd probably feel a little awkward too I expect. You're with G now though and obviously love him to bits, I guess all you can do really is reassure him that if Adam tries it on you'll be firm and put him straight. Can understand you obviously not wanting to upset him, must be horrible to see your partner feeling like that. At the same time you don't want to feel like you're being controlled who you can and can't see. It's the principle of the thing really, if you don't meet Adam who else will he want you not to meet up with next?

Must be so awkward when you have your guy mates over! I've not really been through it myself as all my closest friends are female, but Chris has some pretty hot skinny girl mates and I'm not gonna lie it did used to make me feel a bit insecure. I knew it was completely a problem with 'me' though and I refused to say anything to Chris about it. Once I realised they were really nothing more than friends I was completely fine with it. Hopefully G will just come round to it after a while. Was he like this when you were bigger or is it just a recent thing?

5:2 Fast day has gone well so far- have had serious sugar cravings (*week still looms!) but have been munching on strawberries, sugar free jelly, options hot choc and a lilt zero to keep the cravings at bay a bit!
After doing some googling I found a thread confirming that stupidly tall lasses are allowed the 600cal men's allowance- phew!
Have been getting quite excited researching travel plans with G - we are now questioning if as well as are original plan of Japan, Thailand and a quick stop at a temple in Cambodia, we can maybe also manage Singapore, CHINA, Hong Kong and South Korea!? BLOODY HELL! Haha! Wouldn't be doing a proper run of them all, just a quick tourist stop for a few days or a week at each... G really wants to do China properly though and with a time limit on what seasons are suitable (we really want to be in Japan for Cherry Blossom in April but stuff gets too hot in June so bit of a restriction!) It's looking like at least a 2 month trip though :D so much planning to do!!

Cheeky - G totally gets that I wouldn't let anything happen, but he still just has this huge distrust of THEM. He even said- it's not like they'd (worst case scenario) even be able to rape me as I'm so frigging strong and tall :p I'm like half a foot taller than Sol! Anyway- it's totally a feelings thing with him and I get that- you can't force the feelings away even if they are irrational, hence why he doesn't get angry at me spending time with them... but he gets noticeably tense and it does make me sad :(

CheeseT - Totally get you there, I'd be suspicious as hell of any hot skinny b*tches G hung around... Well, I WOULD have been maybe two years ago but now I'd be like "OMG, G HAS FRIENDS *cries with happiness*" LOL. But yeah, I am totally the jealous type myself so I can relate. He knows I had a huge thing for Adam but he also knows it was a big rebound from my ex really, and that it was a 'style over substance' sort of interest :p I didn't REALLY gel with him on an intellectual level, etc. Anyway, it's not that he feels threatened so much, just out of his comfort zone I guess. If G's ex was in town I'd feel uncomfortable, but I wouldn't stop him hanging out with her. He's not stopping ME either, he's just being obvious about his feelings... Not even in a confrontational way! I totally get the hesitation with Adam, but with Sol it is silly and I wish he'd push past it and realise that Sol is a cool guy and can be G's friend too. *sigh*

The fast day has been alright, just the sugar cravings that have bugged me really! Lunch stuffed me and I just had a tiny random dinner but feel fairly satisfied. I was saying to Cheeky earlier- food is such a mental thing for me, I could probably eat half the SW portions I usually do and not be hungry :p but 'not hungry' isn't really the same as 'comfortably full' is it?
I think I was a bit silly to try one of these days officially on the tailwind of my period, but I was inspired by Cheeky's recent fast days and wanted to give it a go while inspired hehe :D

I really feel shattered today again- my energy has SUCKED this past few days! So zoned out despite sleeping fine. No exercise today either :( feel guilty about that! I keep saying tomorrow but really I feel a bit ill with tiredness so when that goes away I'll kick my butt into action again.

L: Chicken meddly as previously explained, with tbspn quark and iceberg lettuce = 315cal
D: half a cauliflower (200g = 50cal) blended with a tablespoon of smash (15cal) and cooked in stock (5 cal), hard boiled egg (yolk removed) with tiny smidgened of salad cream light (20cal) = 90cal
Snacks: 200g strawberries (about a punnet) = 60cal, 2x SF jelly = 16cal, options hot choc = 40cal, a few mini marshmallows = 10cal, 2 lilt zeros: 20cal, (total: 146)
