you can blend veggies to make soup because vegetables don't contain anywhere near as much sugar as fruit.

As above, you can do pretty much anything to veg and it'll still be syn free. Blended/canned/cooked fruit must be synned, but usually it's only a pretty small amount of syns, so if it's something you enjoy, it's probably still worth doing, just keep an eye on the syns. Remeber, nothing is forbidden on SW!
