Spa break.....any suggestions?

I am looking for a spa to book for a midweek break (1-2 nights) from myself and 2 friends.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Myself and 1 friend are located near Cambridge and the other is in Dudley.

Willing to travel, but not for hours upon end!

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I've been to Champneys at Tring before - it was lovely. Very relaxing, food is wonderful (but very healthy!) and the treatments are great. Loved the head in the clouds scalp massage in particular. Expensive but worth it!

Have a look at last minute - they always have offers on.

Depending on how far you want to. Travel,many how much you have to spend, Pennyhill Park in bagshot is amazing, or Nirvana Spa in Winnersh. Or even further afield is Titanic Spa near Huddersfield or Waterfall Spa in Leeds .

I'm thinking Ragdale Hall would be lovely as a belated birthday present for my little sister. Though have just looked at the costs & nearly feel through the floor! Might need to save for that one
