Spag bol with Extra Lean Mince

When cooking does anything drain and rinse the mince with water, just drain the mince or leave it as it is because its extra lean anyways??

I normally rince with water but it does take the flavour away!

The syns quoted by SW will assume that all visible fat is removed so yes I would always drain it. But I never really understood washing it because as you say, it does seem to be that you are just washing flavour down the sink lol xx
 
yeah its never been the same since i started to wash it but didnt want anything to jeopardise the weight loss. I will however just drain from now on, surely the small bit of fat cant do me any hard... if it does, im coming for you PatchworkPuss hahahaha xx

I drain and pat with kitchen towel and that seems to do the job.
