I've decided it would be helpful to keep a food diary, for accountability and all that jazz. I'm doing EE at the moment, though quite a lot of my days would probably fit into green as I don't eat masses of meat. I'm breastfeeding at the moment, so get 6 hexs, in case that causes any confusion! Advice and comments very welcome.

Breakfast- 2x cauldron sausages 1/2 syn each, trimmed bacon, 1tsp flora
light 1 syn, 90g wholemeal bread, 1 1/2 x hexb, coffee made with 150ml skimmed milk 1/2 hexa, banana.

Lunch- jacket potato with tuna, sweetcorn, and 30g grated cheese (hexa), large side salad. Apple, satsuma, & mullerlight.

Dinner- teriyaki salmon (3syns) with sesame noodles (1 syn) and sugarsnap peas. Grapes.

Snacks- mullerlight and banana, sugar free jelly (1/2 syn), 4x bear yoyos hexb, curly wurly (6sys), hot chocolate (2yns)

total syns 14 1/2

exercise- 1 hr brisk walk with the pram.

lunch- 90g wholemeal bread, hexb, flora light 1 syn, 30g cheese hexa, apple, satsuma, mullerlight. Minibag maltesers 5 syns.

dinner- veg chili, wholewheat pasta, green beans. Grapes.

Snacks- highlights hot chocolate 2 syns, buttons 4syns.
total syns=13

exercise- 30mins swimming.

lunch- 90g wholemeal bread 1 1/2 hexb, 30g cheese hexa, floralight (1 syn) mango, mullerlight. Coffee with remainder of hexa milk from breakfast.

small bite of husband's cookie (total cookie 20syns bite was probably a tenth so guessing 2 syns.)

snack- Sharon fruit

dinner - homemade beef stew 2 syns for wine in stew, broccoli, cauliflower. Grapes.

snack- 2 bear yoyos 1/2 hexb

175ml glass mulled wine made with low alcohol wine, 4 syns.
mini bag of buttons 4 syns

total syns 13.

snack 2x bear yoyo (1/2 hexb), high lights hot chocolate (2syns)

total syns 13

breakfast porridge (hexb) with milk (hexa) and a banana.

lunch- went out for lunch with a friend, and the selection of SW friendly food was awful, nothing s remotely healthy. I had a falafel burger with side salad and 4 chips. I'd not had any other syns for the day, I'm sure it was over, but there wasn't much I could do. Coffee with some more milk (hexa)

snack after WI - pea soup the consultant made (free)

dinner - vegetable curry containing lots of super free (1/2syn) with rice.

Exercise- 1/2hr walk with the pram.
 
Fri. STS at WI last night, due to meal out Thur night and poss yesterday's lunch too. It could have been worse, but I really want a loss this week! I've not got anything lined up which might sabotage that, so I can be 100%, yay!

Breakfast- 35g porridge (hexb) with 200ml skimmed milk (hexa), banana.

Lunch- veg soup, roll (Hexb) with egg, flora light (1 syn), satsuma, Sharon fruit, muller light.

Snack- bear yoyo (1/2 Hexb) Sharon fruit

Dinner- fajitas (1syn) tortilla wrap (6 1/2syns) cheese (hexa) salad. Grapes.

250ml mulled wine with low alcohol wine. (5 1/2syns)

Total syns 14

Exercise- 30 day shred, 30 min walk with pram.

Snack, banana, mullerlight Greek 1/2 syn

dinner- roast chicken, Sw roast potato & parsnip, syn free onion gravy, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, green beans, stuffing 1 1/2syn. 175ml reduced alcohol wine 4 syns.
 
Hi :) Nice food diary.

I have always strayed away from roast dinners as I worried they would be too high in syns, but your roast sounds delicious! How do you roast potatos? Is it just a case of coating with spray light?

I did the potato and parsnips by parboiling for 10 mins, then spraying v liberally with fry light, and I scattered some chopped garlic and rosemary over the top for added flavour. It was the first time I'd done them, and I was a little bit worried they'd be rubbish compared to the husband's which I did in the chicken pan, bit they were lovely, and I didn't feel deprived at all.

snacks mini buttons (4syns) mullerlight Greek 1/2 syn, banana. Coffee with milk left from breakfast's hexa

dinner- syn free chilli, jacket potato, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green beans, 15g cheese 1/2hexa. Grapes.

exercise- 30 min swim.

exercise 30 min walk with pram.

WI day, lost 2.5lbs and got stone award. :)

breakfast 36g porridge (hexb) with 200ml skimmed milk (part hexa) and an apple. Coffee with milk (rest of hexa)

lunch- veg soup, wholemeal bread toast (hexb) with flora light (1syn) 30g cheese (hexa), apple, mullerlight.

snack- rocky road hifi bar, then another one straight away- these are dangerous! (Hexb)

dinner- wholemeal pasta, green beans, veg bolognaise sauce with lots of added super free. Grapes. 2 squares Lindt chocolate (5syns)

total syns 6.
 
I've been pretty rubbish and getting on and logging, but I've been 100%. :)

lunch- cheese sandwich, wholemeal bread (1 1/2 hexb) cheese (hexa) flora light (1 syn.) Sharon fruit, apple, mullerlight.

dinner, veggie spag bol, wholewheat pasta, broccoli, carrots. Grapes, bear yoyo x2 (1/2 hexb)

snacks 2 squares lindt dark chocolate, 5 syns.

Total syns=6.
