As far as breaking or hopefully altering an overly sweet tooth, I'd use it reasonably.
I'm trying to help someone now on a French site who's "overused" it (in my opinion - in every hot drink, desserts breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks etc. plus yoghurts) and once in Conso found herself diving into sugar pretty quickly.
I try to advise to correct an overly sweet tooth while losing one's weight if one can... (or at least reduce it. That's why my muffins are savoury... I'm the WORST one for sugar!)
