Stamina

Hello, not sure if this is the right place for it but we'll see, I go to the gym regularly, however I only lift weights due to my stamina being really poor, I've been trying to crank it up a bit, but not much seems to work, I've tried to take regular walks aswell but that doesn't seem to help either, no matter what I do, if I step on a treadmill I'm sweating and extremely exhausted after just about half a minute, so my question is, what can I do to increase my stamina? Do I have to force myself to keep going or are there other ways?
 
just keep going, once you reach your "limit" just try for one more minute, keep pushing past your limit each time

stamina is something built over time.

meanwhile what diet are you following. Eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins (like chicken breast) and whole grains. Also drink a lot of water.

meanwhile

1. set goals to measure against
2. build a plan for your exercise
3. walk everywhere - ditch the car
4. go to the next limit each time - add 10mins each time or 10lb
5. if it continues get a check at your docs
