I just started a VLCD yesterday - I joined a weight loss clinic and am seeing a dietitian.
Plan is I'll do phase 1 - 600 cals for 2 weeks (min). Then phase 2 - 800 cals for a month!
Then a low gi diet plan and eventually a maintenance plan using low gi eating as a lifestyle choice.
It's flexible though so if I wanna spend longer at any phase I can.
For the VLCD part I have to eat Eurodiet products as replacements for meals. In addition to this I'm allowed a homemade soup/salad/stirfry/steamed veggies/roasted etc - made from a selection of suitable veggies.
When I can create a blog on this I will and I'll be describing my meals per day xxxx
