Hi, I am a newbie. I have arranged to meet my Counsellor for the first time on Saturday and I am really looking forward to it! I have about 11 stone to lose I think. On any other diet, this could take years and years, where as I have the real possibility that I could be at or really close to target by Christmas!! It's just truly amazing!!

I know it's not going to be an easy journey, but my husband is joining me and hopefully having all of you at different stages will help me get through the ups and downs!

    Nice to meet you

    Hi Bunny
I'm on day 3 (well its nearly over :D ) of a re-start. I'm on LL hoping to break my terrible 'bingeing' & 'compulisive' eating habits - which I've developed over the past 10 years.

You've come to the best place for advice on support - there are some truly inspirational people on this site.

    Luv Clare xxxx

    Welcome Bunny!
As someone who also had a lot to lose, I can only say that starting CD will be the best thing you have ever done. You and hubby will see yourselves transformed in no time at all.

Good luck to you both. Follow the diet to the letter, drink water til it comes out of your ears and be prepared to be stunned by the results! :)

Woweee!! 5 stone in 3 months is absolutely amazing!!!

Like Lisa said, I'd love to do that too! Although 5 stone in 5 months would be wonderful enough!

I have been so so excited today, I really can't wait to start. I know that it can be really really tough but I am going to do all i can to stick with it and with all the down days I will just try my hardest to keep in mind where I could be if I stick to it!

Best of luck Bunnyg. You will get great support.

Looking forward to reading how you get on.

As much as you might hate to, take "before" pictures and take more as you go on. So that you have a picture diary for yourself, if no one else. I took mine last night. Yuk!! But when I am finished this journey, hopefully I will say Yum!!! (And maybe some nice bloke will say that too. LOL!!!)

Thanks - I took a photo last weekend of just me in my bra and knickers so you can see the true figure - I am hoping that my final pic will be in a bikini!!

I also have a few pics that were taken on a walk last weekend with my clothes on

Both are horrible but I can't wait to start seeing the difference. I will take one with every stone I lose
