Starting tomorrow :)

    I'm completely new to CD, and looking forward to starting tomorrow,
    Just looking on some words of advice on what i should buy to take to work? all there is there is a kettle and microwave
    Are there any flavours of soup i should avoid? i heard the cheese one is pretty horrible but then saw somewhere in here that it had been discontinued

    Is anyone else starting tomorrow ad wants to buddy up? I really have no idea about CD so could do with some support

    Hi I'm restarting on Tuesday and I get the choc tetras because I find them easiest in work etc I you don't have to mix them or anything but you do need to drunk water before and after one.. Might be an idea for you in work! :)

    Hi Emma,

    I have the same facilities at work, so I brought myself a shaker (I got it at Holland and Barrett for a couple of pounds) so I could mix up shakes. But I've seen on here some people are reluctant to tell people at work about the diet, so may be difficult to do if you aren't telling people (I recommend telling people - everyone I know has been so supportive, and they've stopped eatting in the office etc).

    RE the soups - from what I've read, every one has really different views! I don't like the soups, but others don't seem to like the shakes! I'd pick the flavours that sound appealling, and then swap any spares you don't like with the CDC (check they'll do this though).

    I've only been on it a week, first WI is tonight. I'm not going to lie and say its a walk in the park, you can read on here its not! Its really tough, but stick through it! The first couple of days I felt awful but I feel so much better now. Find things to distract you, and go to bed early! I slept so much in the first few days, as my difficult times were when I was at home in the evening. When I'm feeling hungry, I tell myself its a want for food, not a need. And drink lots of water! (I didn't drink as much over the weekend, and I felt worse for it).


    Good Luck Emma - and if you ever need motivation, read the diaries and look at the photos on here... they really helped me through the first few days!

    Hello, I'm on day 2 and really not finding it too tricky... so far! Mind you i'm on sole source + so have a v low calorie meal in eve (basically salad)
    So far I've had strawberry shake and chocolate shake, both were nice. Oriental chilli soup which i didnt like and mushroon soup which was ok!

    Hi, I'm a newbe on here as well, I'm starting CD tomorrow!!! I'm going to do this, failing isn't an option. Shall we support each other?

    Well I'm just heading to bed after day one, it's not been too bad, I did ss plus today, wasn't sure which I was goin to do so left it open to how I felt on the day. Don't think much of the oriental chilli either!! Shame cos I have loads and I suppose I will need to use them before my CDC is back, bleurgh choc mint shake was ok! As was chick mushroom soup, tho I think I put too much water in as was guessing at work! Thanks for the tip on the shaker, searched everywhere for one today with no luck so will go holland Barrett tomorrow! Have told everyone at work so they won't offer me the evil stuff formally known as food!!
