Not really to dissapointed I have increased my carbs quite a bit this week as i have been a little unwell, still feel a bit off, felt really thirsty when i woke up in the mornings! But I have still lost 10lb's in 4 weeks and i am not stopping there. I am going to just take the more scenic route of low carb and continue my exercise programme that i have been doing.
Anyone else weighed today?

I agree a 10 pound loss is great and gaining no weight after a little slip up is even better... keep up the good work.

You've lost a load Jo, you'll be having a plateau, we all get them from time to time love.

#8
that's a good point jim.. plateaus are a pain in the butt but they will happen. I had one when I was within 6 pounds of my goal weight when I lost weight before..

hang in there jo it will move again

Exactly morenachica, and yes you will start losing again Jo.

Just know that plateaus happen and it will pass... I know it isnt easy but just maybe measure yourself and try and stay away from the scale.. I had a 7 week plateau before but then it finally broke but also at the same time my inches went down..

I am going to try to stick to my weigh only fortnightly plan! Makes a lot of sense!

it does sophs.. I'm going to try and stay away from the scale. Scales can be a motivator and de-motivator.. If its a loss we are motivated if there is no loss or gain we are de-motivated and want to know what we did wrong. which in the end we havent done anything wrong, its just how your body is at times:D so Im going to REALLY try and not take a peek and go by my clothes for the next 2 weeks

Have a good holiday Jo :) and relax and have fun

I leave for vacation on wednesday until Aug 19th so I'm in the same boat as you but also I'm determine not to be beaten by food. I'm not going to gain back the weight I lost because I couldn't control myself.. I refuse to throw in my flag.. Sometimes I think I'm a bit obessed about gaining the weight back and not losing and re-gaining the same weight over and weight again..
