    How wierd is this.

Im now at my lightest weight ever and very happy with the new me. Im wearning nice clothes for work, doing my hair every day, wearing makeup and look and feel great. Im getting compliment left right and centre BUT...Im really struggling to stay 100% SS. At least twice a week i will eat and its usually a sandwich and crisps as ive noting healthy in the house to eat and i dont want to buy healthy stuff as it will be a green light to eat it. I still need to loose about 4 stone to get to where i would like to be, but i because im no longer depressed about my size, my willpower had gone! Has anybody else ever been through this or have any advice to offer.
I also need to update my signature as ive lost 52lbs to date.

maybe speak to your CDC about the possibility of SS+, you still loose a significant amount of weight over a month, but there is some eating (controlled) involved as well?

Know exactly this feeling! as soon as you loose weight and clothes start getting loose - i personally - get a bit complacent and think ooh you have done so well have a little treat! OMG Noooooo!!
I must have been lucky as i did probably pick when doing SS but never had a major binge and have acheived 5 n half stone. But i can see where you are coming from.
How to get over this.....mmmm.... dunno i now try and tell myself if i think i am going to eat something i shouldn't i tell myself "are you really hungry? probably not! do you want to give people that said you will put all this weight back on the satisfaction of being right? No"

There is no simple answer to this i think but if you find it please share with the rest of us

    Good luck hun

I done that I was amazed at all the compliments bought new clothes starting wearing make-up more often had my haircut and was a more happier person. Then Christmas happened one roast dinner turned into 8months of binge eating and unfortunately binge drinking(I admit I am a greedy person). I used to tell myself its ok this diet is amazing I can take off two stone in 2 months whats the problem. Well the problem is I cant get back on track (It is so hard) when I first started I read this quite a few times and thought dont be so stupid but it is so true. Please do not give up just keep going till the end or ss+. I have managed to put back on all my weight as I am typing this I am sitting in my elesticated pj's with my hair scraped back and looking out at what a beautiful day it is but dont want to go out in my big clothes feeling uncomfortable and unhappy. Dont let yourself go backwards if you have a hitch you have a hitch No problem just glug that water and grab a shake dont give up or you WILL be so unhappy and disappointed in yourself in a few months time and is not worth it xx

You need to stop looking back at what you used to be and start looking forwards to how you WANT to be... It's a common way of sabotaging ourselves..

    1. go get yourself a copy of the Paul mckenna I can make you thin CD.. (Beg borrow or steal!) you don't need to read the book but the CD will help you with a visualisation technique that, if you use everyday, can transform your attitude to sticking with the plan.

    2. Develop a mantra that you can say to yourself whenever you feel like you're about to deviate from the plan....

Something like "I'm a strong woman, I have a way to go and (insert foodstuff) will NOT help me achieve my goals... I don't need to eat it, therefore I won't"

Leave the room, and say it to yourself aloud if you have to!

These strategies work, but, only if you use them consistently.
There is no easy answer, but there are ways to get what it is that you really want out of this diet, with persistence and consistence!

    HTH a bit!

Gosh I did that aswell! Lost 7st then felt great so started to nibble. +3st later and I had to restart. Stick at it and keep focussed! It's not worth giving up and putting it all back on again xxx

I'm with you on this Tarm.

I have got into the comfortable stage and have started eating SS+ stuff.

I'm hoping for my first SS day in a week.

If I were you i'd get rid of the crisps chick. They're no good XXXX

Im going to keep some mushrooms and carb free stuff in the house just in case and keep away from crisps and butties!

Thanks to you all....brilliant support as ever. xx
