I'm eating 3 means a day with no snacking what so ever, generally having a couple pieces of toast for breakfast, my main meal for lunch which i keep as healthy as poss then a small tea. Not eating anything after bout 6pm. I'm active, owning horses and always busy,,,,, any suggestions how I can shift it??? Thanks

Why not write down everything you eat for a day then work out how many calories you are eating. There are plenty of sites where you can work out the ideal number of calories for your height and weight so you can see how much of a difference there is.

They say that 1 pound = 3500 calories so you'd need to eat 500 cals less a day than your recommended amount to lose 1 pound a week or 1000 cals less per day to lose 2 pounds a week.

    Hope this helps.

Many dieticians now say we should be eating five times a day. Havins sligjtly smaller main meals and two healthy snacks eg fruit, nuts raw veg or even a low cal snack bar. It helps to keep the metabolism running at a more even rate and therefore burns calories more efficiently.
