Struggling - Week 2

#1
OK so I haven't cheated at all or anything and am definitely in ketosis (I check all the time!) but I am still really, really hungry a lot of the time. I'm sure I didn't have this the last time I did this diet. It is real tummy rumbling emptiness and it's getting harder to bear.

I am on anti-biotics this week too for a chest infection so feel crap anyway. Being starving all the time is not helping! I don't want to break my diet but I am really struggling.

:grouphugg:Awww poor you, feeling unwell is making you feel worse. I think the hungry pains are probably in your head, you want to eat something to comfort yourself cos you feel so crap.
You had a fantastic loss your first week, try and remember that to egg you on.
I hope you feel better soon hun xx:grouphugg:

whjen people talk abpout emotional hunger, it think we find it hard to grasp as they feel like very real hunger pains.... thing is they probably are emotional hunger cravings...

I found the best way to deal with these to get the trusty pen and paper out and start to write things down. Get a grasp of why you are doing the plan and re confirm your motivations etc..

Sometimes this helps me realise that the need to be slim is much more important than eating and the cravings ease...

You can also try the trusty pamper yourself sessions especially if you dont feel to good and nice warm baths..
You are doing well and really will get through it :)

Hope you feel better soon x

I am on week 8 and I still sometimes get hungry!
You need to balance your shakes/porridge/soups out throughout the day and seriously drink bucketloads of water.
I find that if I eat my breakfast too early it leaves me hungry later on, so I tend to hang on until about ten in the morning before having my porridge.
Hope this helps xx

keep going, im on day 3 and the only thing that keeps me from reaching for the bread is that it wont taste as good, as the diesel jeans i want to fit my arse into.

I have my first pack at 1pm for lunch, next at about 5.30 for tea and a supper about 9. Work is busy so i dont notice time go by so i prefer to eat later as i'm on my own at night. I put on all my weight because i was comfort eating as my OH works nights and goes away at 6.30. I've always got water beside me for those 'hunger' moments and i'm managing to get through about 4 ltrs a day.
