    Hi,

I am in the third day of my CD and have just nibbled on a quarter of a piece of ryvita. I am feeling very very light headed and have done very little work today! I have already lost 3 lbs and am very very pleased and I know that this is the only way i am going to shift the excess weight I have put on over the years. But I find lunchtimes the hardest in terms of being light headed and in the evening when everyone is eating delicious homemade food is also hard.

    Anyone got any advice?

    Hello

You have to get your head in the right frame of mind and accept that other people will continue to eat food but thats ok, you will be able to join in once you have your weight shifted - its not a 'forever' thing.

Also, if you must reach for something, you should reach for something in the protein form ie chicken, ham, cheese etc - eating carbs will take you out of ketosis and back to square 1.

I get lightheaded at home sometimes if I get up too quickly so I have to remember this and try and move a little more slowly, during that day though I am fine.

This diet is hard but you have made a choice to do it so you might as well give it 100% else something like slimfast is a cheaper option but with lower weight loss.

Get your head in the right place and then its easy. Stop thinking about what you're missing out on and look forward to what you will gain by your fast weight loss.
