Day 1 - 2.4.11.

Hope it isnt too early to start a diary as I only started my diet today :D
I will, no doubt, have alot to say in the coming days!

So..... So far I have had a vanilla shake for breakfast couldn't finish it, I really didnt like it :eek: I made it in the blender with water and a few ice cubes, it smelled so nice then tasted not so nice lol.

Had a choc orange bar for lunch and feel ok at the mo. have had about half a litre of water so far but will def have lots more through out the rest of the day.

I bought the variety pack to start with so I could try out all the flavours (apart from the chicken one as I'm a veggie) then just order what I like for next week.

Still happy and positive, was feeling quite grumpy and hungry before my bar but after having that and a coke zero I feel much better.

Planning on a tomato soup for dinner :D

Welcome and good luck Stutchie. You are doing all the right things so keep strong and keep going. The first few days are always the hardest but once you are through that I find it gets a lot easier. Tastes are very individual and these will change with time so just because you don't like them today- this may change next week etc. keep us posted on how you are getting on. Take care xx

I agree with ladygaga, your tastes might change so maybe give them a couple of days and try again. I had to adapt my packs to get them down, but can pretty much stomach them all now!!

Good luck and stick at it....it will all be worth it in the end!!..x

OK, well I had the tomato soup for dinner as I usually love tom soup but it wasnt nice at all. Getting worried now that I'm not going to like anything! I do like the bars though but am aware you can only have one a day. Will buy some sweeteners tomorrow to add to the shakes. Hopefully I will like the strawb and choc shakes.
One thing I dont like about the soup and the shake was the consistancy, I have to use my blender and have tried different settings but they come out too light and 'airy'. Lots of tiny bubbles. Is there a better way of mixing them?

I couldnt eat the soup and didnt want to starve so I had an apple :( I'm not going to have anything else though.

Hope today's going well for you. I don't like the tomato soup, especially the fact it's pink!, so add tonnes of black pepper to it and that definitely helps. Can't stand the chocolate shake either. I know other people have it hot, or add coffee to it and swear by that. I like the bars rather too much, the downside of that is that as I've got a variety pack I'm going to be on just soups and shakes for the last week of the month :)

Hey Hun have you tried different amounts of water with your shake? I only like mine with a certain amount if I accidentally do too much I hate them.

I also blend them, but I only blend for about 5 seconds. Then iput a LOT of ice in and leave about 5/10 minutes for them to get really ice cold. Yummy. I don't even add any sweetener or anything

Day 2 - 3.4.11

Hi and thanks you, I had a Strawberry shake for brekkie with some sweetners and it was ok.. so at least I like something! I hate coffee so cant add that to my choc, but I'm hoping I will like that :) Going to try the veg soup for dinner and try making it a different way. I have just finished my bar for lunch, had it in about 4 bits to make it last and keep my hunger at bay.
Have just got home from the pub where I had mineral water! Go me lol. Was annoying the fuss people made about me drinking 'just water' but at least they didnt keep on about it. In fact, my mother in law had a bottle of minieral water too after she finished her lager lol, think I started a trend.

Just to add, I think all the times I have had to run upstairs to the loo this weekend, is really going to tone up my legs!! lol

Just had coke zero and veggie soup for dinnner, couldn't finish the soup. Dont feel hungry though.

Have decided that I am going to stick to TS for 2 weeks then add a meal after that, just a tuna salad or something like that as I cant afford all the packs.. going on hols in 7 weeks and need to save as much money as poss. Still think I will lose a good amount as I am going to have a meal of no more that 200 cals and 2 exante meal replacements each day. :) Oh and excercise everyday.

Hey, well I haven't updated for a few days.. I found it really difficult on Exante because I couldn't learn to like any of it. If I tried to eat or drink any of it I would gag. Sounds extreme I know but I'm a sensitive little soul lol. So anyways, I have switched to Slim Fast/VLCD. Still doing well, have lost 5lbs so far and only started dieting on sat so that's 5lbs in 5 days :)

Will be moving a new diary to the slim fast section, good luck everyone and thanks for all the support!
