Succesful losers - what clicked??

For me what clicked was my head. I sorted through lots of old baggage, changed the way I acted in many ways and ended up eating better. After changing me the dieting bit became the obvious next step.
 
I was chubby all the way though primary and secondary school and the weight was steadily increasing. For me what really hit it was when i started 6th form, i became more aware of my body image and didn't like what i saw. I became even more conscience when i started going out with my boyfriend, i felt so fat and frumpy and wasn't comfortable with him touching me. I can't really say it was one thing that pushed me to start dieting but a mixture of things ranging from the dozens of slim girls im surrounded by everyday to my families cheap comments about my weight. Ultimately i did it for my self confidence, i wanted to feel beautiful in the clothes i wore and not hide under them.
