Thursday 4th April:
B: large fruit salad (grapes, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi, mango) & mullerlight.
L: chicken sandwich with flora, lettuce, cucumber. Tesco tutti frutti fruit salad (180g) (melon, grapes, kiwi, mango).(HEX B 1) (2).
T: Prawn stir fry (out of the meals in minutes book) (more stir fry, less prawns/ noodles). (1/2).
S: grapes, hifi deluxe bar. (HEX B 2)

Friday 5th April:
B: large fruit salad (grapes, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi, mango) & mullerlight, alpen light bar. (HEX B 1).
L: chicken salad (asda tikka chicken) with lettuce, cucumber, carrot, red pepper, sweetcorn. Grapes. Alpen light bar (HEX B 1).
T: veggie omelette (mushroom, red pepper, onion) with small salad.
S: 200ml milk (HEX A), options brownie hot chocolate (3), hifi deluxe bar (HEX B 2)

Saturday 6th April:
B: 2 weetabix, banana, milk, strawberries. (HEX A) (HEX B 1)
L: prawn salad with lettuce, cucumber, carrot, red pepper, sweetcorn, small fruit salad.
T: luxury shepherds pie (out of the 50 free original days book) with carrots and broccoli.
S: hifi deluxe bar (HEX B 2).

Sunday 7th April:
B: 'French toast' with 1/2 tbs golden syrup (1 1/4 syns), strawberries, raspberries. (HEX B1)
L: jacket potato with flora (2) + small salad.
T: mugshot with large salad, hifi deluxe. (HEX B2)
S: fruit

Syns are the ones in brackets, because I get an extra HEX B choice I don't find I need as many syns.
Example: flora (2)
 
Hi everyone
Have decided, after going to Stratford Upon Avon for a couple of days, and managing to put on 3lbs I will go onto SE to lose the gain.
Going on hols in May so I have 7 weeks to lose 10lbs. Can be achieved but I need to stick to it.
And why does it take 2 days to put 3lbs on but takes me 3 weeks to get it off???
Anyway here goes.....my food diary for today....
Breakfast
Big fresh fruit salad with a shape yoghurt

Mid morning
Banana and alpen bar (1/2 hexb)

Lunch
Wholemeal roll (1hexb) with BBQ turkey and 1 tbsp NUME mayo (1 syn) and a massive salad. Satsuma, grapes and an apple

Dinner
Bacon medallion omelette packed with mushrooms, onions and peppers, SW chips and a salad. Will use 40g grated reduced fat cheese
(1hexa) to put over the omelette and chips - yummy!!

1 hex a - 350ml ss milk for teas and coffees.
fruit teas

Syns - 1 nut tracker bar - 6.5 syns - do I like these!
Packet of walkers crisps with my lunch - 6.5 syns

Total syns 14

Okay so I haven't been totally sticking to what I'd said in the previous food diary but still success expressing it :)

Today:
B: 2 weetabix, milk, banana, strawberries, raspberries (HEX A) (HEX B 1)

L: Prawn salad (100g prawns, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, red pepper, sweetcorn) with fruit salad (grapes, mango, strawberries, raspberries)

T: 'Luxury Shepherds Pie' (from the 50 free original days book), carrots, broccoli & apple sauce (2 syns).

S: Curly Wurly (6 syns), Hifi Deluxe bar (HEX B 2).

Total syns today: 8 syns.

If this is any good I can keep posting my food diaries when I do SE but sometimes it gets a bit repetitive, lots of salad & jacket potatoes etc :p

Yes didn't really count but had been really good with syns all week.

that sounds so easy to follow. I have just started extra easy and like it . If I change over do you think that it would be enough to sustain me through my whole weightloss journey of three and a half stone. If not would I still lose when I went back on to extra easy. I do spin class and walk every day and work as a mobile hairdresser so am very busy fitting it all in so I must burn quite a bit off

Therefore most syns must be taken with in the main meals

I like the sound of the plan but don't understand if you only have super free snacks in between meals when do the syns come in....prob being thick

You can still choose to use your syns outside of your meals. But you must take the highest syn value so say ham is free on red but 1 syn on green you must count 1 syn

I don't see why snacks can't be syned, I know it says they should be superfree but in the little booklet you get there is a mock up dairy and it says like: syns: hula hoops 6 1/2 syns, jelly pot 1/2 syn. So I'm assuming you can use syns how you wish. Don't forget to take the higher value though if there is one :)

I was eating 2 meals a day of SE unintentionally last week and lost 6.5lbs :eek:

This week I am going to continue having my SE breakfast (fruit salad and soy yogurt), lunches are a little bit more difficult but it can be done. Dinner is easy peasy but I just can't afford it all the time!!

The only thing I don't do is the higher syn value, just because all of the stuff I eat that has syns isn't in the book and I'd be on the net all day searching for syns! I will try an SE day but will have to plan it out when I'm home on the computer so I know what syns are for things.

T: turkey tikka salad (100g tikka turkey pieces, lettuce, cucumber, carrot, red pepper, sweetcorn), grapes, hifi deluxe (HEX B 2).

S: mullerlight, Curly Wurly. (6)

Okay I know I shouldn't have had the extra mullerlight as a snack but whatever :p

Total syns: 8

I think I will do EE and when I am struggling go on to it as it sound s as if it is good for shifting stubborn weight. Am so determined to get there as i am sick of looking overweight.
