Morning cinta. I am well jealous of your Orlando plans. I love love love Orlando don't know when I will get the chance to go again but so want to. In fact I want to travel to so many places in America I don't know when I'll get the chance to do em all hehe!!

I know what u mean about Sundays was always my big binge day usually involving choccy, and at least one piece of cake if not two! I do still miss cheesecake on a sunday. Your eaton mess does sound good tho :)

Have a lovely Sunday x

Thanks Jo..

I also LOVE Orlando also!! I would go every year if I could afford it! :)

Glad you're ok Cinta :)

Loving the positives.

I have a very silly question - egg butty??? Is this a fried egg sandwich?

Hey sweetie, hope you had a fab weekend, sorry not been around...loads going on as you know, but back to normal now so I will be back as Arnie would say :giggle:
Sweet dreams lovely and have a stupendous Monday :zz: :hug99: xxxxxx

Oh and Lisa yes an egg butty is a fried egg sandwich ...yummy xxx

Well my plan was to be back in here Kicking some Butt this week and I promised to start doing my positives again....

Unfortunately I had to have my gorgeous dog put to sleep on Sunday afternoon and I am totally heart broken!

He was a little Westie called Charlie and he was the Sweetest dog ever with the nicest temperament! I just can't believe how heart broken I am .... I just can't stop sobbing!

I have taken a couple of days off work but I just feel like the house is soo empty. I am used to him being sat on my knee or coming for a big cuddle!

I just miss him so much!! :-(

So unfortunately I am not in the best place to be thinking of positives and eating is just the last thing on my mind! :-(

Give me a couple of days and I will be back to my cheery self... I promise!! Xxxx

Hi Hun

Big hugs to you.

So sorry about your lil doggy. I had to have one of my cats put to sleep on sat. What a tragic event. Xxx

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

a friend sent me this when my beloved barney died 10 yrs ago, it took me 7 yrs to get another dog something i now regret ( the length of time not the dog:))

:bighug::bighug: losing a beloved pet is actually losing a member of your family and best friend. my heart goes out to you honey xxx

Thank You Yvonne,

I never thought loosing a Pet could be this painful! :-(

I think only people that have been through it can understand how devastating it is.

I could never understand how people could get so upset about loosing an animal, I can't believe how many tears I have shed in the last 3 days! :-(

Sorry to hear your news Sugar.

They are one of the family!! It's one of the reasons I don't have pets.

Hi PP, your right... After 14 years Charlie really was one of the Family but we have some fab memories and I will never regret having him.

It's just very hard when you have to say goodbye. Xx

I am sorry my Diary has been a little Sad of late... I promise I will try and get it back being motivational and upbeat soon! :)

Food wise I have just been picking over the last few days, so I haven't been keeping a food diary and I certainly have not been in the mood for my positives. Lol

This is a pic of my beautiful Charlie. He was the most wonderful dog in the world. He had an amazing life and got to the grand old age of 14 with no health problems at all, he was a sturdy little bugger!

He was talented too.. His dad won Supreme Crufts Champion!!! (if you remember a Westie winning in the early 90's)

We were originally going to show him but he was too much of a character for the ring!! He was a stubborn little bugger that did things when HE wanted and not before!

It had been sooooo sad to say goodbye to him but I am glad to know he didn't suffer, he wasn't alone and he just fell to sleep!

CHARLIE - My lovely little puppy!

image-3020865962.jpg

Now some people may think I am totally crazy.... But I want to introduce you to the new member of the Sugar household....

image-3554794635.jpg

He is a 2 week old Miniture Schnauzer!! I can't collect him till the 5th April (he will then be 8 wks)

Both Hubby and I agreed that when anything happened to Charlie, we would get another Puppy. The house is too empty without a dog!

I didn't think it would be sooo quick but it just feels right! I can have something positive to look forward to, whilst I get over loosing Charlie!

I have asthma, so I need a dog that doesnt malt. We originally looked at another Westie but nothing would fill Charlie's shoes, so it seemed right to look at a different breed. I did quite a bit of research into the mini schnauzer and I lived there temperament, they had a lot of similar traits to westies!! :)

So there he is 'Little Sugar'!!!

We don't have a name yet.. On the short list are

ALFIE
OSCAR
VINNIE
HENRY
RUFUS
FREDDIE
MONTY
WALTER

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!! :)
