Extra Easy Days Super Speed foods!!

Hi,

Ive recently come back to slimming world after a long break and Im going to do it properly this time. Ive been back 3 weeks and ive lost 10lbs but my consultant has given me a mini target of 4lbs for the week to get me to my 1st stone!!

I was planning on having loads of superspeed foods but don't remember anything I used to make which was mainly super speed foods. Can anyone give me some ideas?

Really wanna lose the 4lbs and prove I can do it this time!!

Have a look through your book and look for the S and SS symbols next to the foods
Basically
Fruit (not bananas or grapes to name a couple though)
Veg
White fish
Chicken
Lentils
Baked beans
Mushy peas

Also if you do a search on here they are listed somewhere but they are definitely in your book.

PS - the mini target is for you to set, not your consultant! 4lbs in week 4 is a lot to lose!

make veg soup :)

i make a kinda stir fried super free veg mix ... i made it lastnight

dice up

onion
celery
red peppers x 2
carrot

cook in a pan with veg stock ( as much as you need to use to taste as you like it )

once this veg is softened dice up mushrooms and add them in and cook it up until all veg is soft

i dice up baby sweet toms and once the veg mix is ready i plunge the cold uncooked toms into the mix and serve ontop of taglitelle

you dont have to have the toms cold you can cook them if you like. i find having them cold really brings out the taste of the whole meal :)

you could opt to leave out the pasta and have it alone to cut down on carbs :)

Just incorporate any of the superspeed ingrediants into your cooking for example a superspeed fish such as Cod (which i believe is SS) and then superspeed veg to accompany it! But i do agree with Jaylou, 4lbs is a big mini target for this stage in your weight loss - you should be deciding what the target is, as its your weight loss!!

Thanks everyone!! I really need to sit down with my book and plan some good meals just fallen out of the habit or instinctivley knowing whats super food what free and whats not!! think i need a refresher course.

I know 4lbs is high but my consulant belives I can do it and if she believes then i start to believe it to. I always find it easier to set a high target and try hard to get it then set a low one and not get it coz i thought there was no need to wrk hard to get there. We shall see but I am trying my hardest this wek unlike the last week as u can see from my weight loss!! oh well. Thanks Again
