Surfhunny's Countdown to Florida

Oh Sally,

I'm so sorry. When it rains it pours. Have you tried selling it on eBay?

Did they give you the mini pill because they thought you had high blood pressure? If the monitor shows you don't can you get the other?

(((((Hugs)))))

Yeah I asked for mycrogynon again as its what I had before, but as soon as she saw my bp she said absolutely not and put me on mini pill. If the 24 hour test comes back okay I still have to wait 3 months before she'll put me back on mycrogynon, and tbh I think if I'd have seen a dr they'd have used their discretion a bit more. Nurse practitioners have to work within their limitations, which is understandable.

So far 2012 has been a shocking year with no signs of improvement! I just hope I can stay relaxed enough while I'm wearing the monitor for it not to throw out high readings!

It is that "white coat" thing. My friend, L, always reads high if they take her pressure at the start of an appointment. She makes them retest her after five minutes.

Can you see a doc now?

The white coat thing is why they're putting me on the 24 hour monitor! Can't see a doc until I've had the monitor on.

As I'm laid here I can feel my blood pounding in my veins in the side of my neck which I've never felt before and I've got this massive ball of anxiety in my stomach. I can't wait to get to work tonight to do my bp on a machine that I trust!

I should be looking forward to my holiday not feeling anxious and stressed! :(

Once they see you're normal (at least your blood pressure) you'll relax a bit.

Aaahhh love I just want to cuddle u up u sound soooo fed up xxx pls pls don't worry about the bp stuff yr working loads yr dieting drinking loads of fluid and have other worries all bound to raise yr bp x it will all calm down in time xxxxxxx
And I'm so sorry u feel pants towards slower weight loss but it comes to us all x as we all get lighter it slows and as u rightly said hunny at least each pound is a step in the right direction I always think it took me yrs to put it on so I can't really complain about the months it's taking to come off xxxx
I'm desperate to be in the 12s infact if I'm honest I'm desperate to be at goal so I can live again but CDs all one long head game of waiting for the weeks to pass and anyways missy yr holiday which sounds super fan tiddly tastic is only a short amount of time away x yr thinner than what u were before cd and u should shake that littler bootie while yr away and defo have yr pic taken yr really pretty xxxxxxxxx anyways big hugs x here's to a better week nxt week x plus good luck for wi

Oh Sally what poo! I'm on depo and get 0 bleeds. Fabby! Don't know what my bp is! My weight is rubbish. It's not going Dow despite exercising like a nutter! Hate the dreaded weigh ins!

Try not to stress about your bp as it will only show up. Take some time off work. Go and have a nice massage and sell that car on we buy any car . Com they pay a reasonable amount quite close to what a dealer would offer and then you'd be rid of it.

Happy weekend, Sally.

As if things weren't bad enough, I'm back at the dentist AGAIN tomorrow  suddenly yesterday my front tooth started to hurt and this morning when I brushed my teeth the gum around the front tooth was bleeding. My tooth feels bruised and I think I've been clenching my teeth cos I'm stressed, but the bleeding gums scared me, never had bleeding gums before :( Conveniently I already had tomorrows appointment to check on the fractured tooth before my holiday, so I'll be mentioning my sore front tooth. I'm so sick of having dental problems, I'm so pedantic about looking after my teeth, brush, floss and mouth wash everyday.

I'm terrified my front tooth will have to come out! I can't have a gap right at the front of my mouth I'd be mortified! I hope it's nothing serious, I'm so so scared  I can't wait for my appointment!! All this is happening too close to my holiday for my liking.

On the plus side my blood pressure couldn't be more normal.

That's interesting Mel, I think I might take a supplement anyway!! It'd be just my luck to get scurvy lol.

Anyway as for the dentist, fractured tooth stable so no intervention, had sharp tooth filed smooth, and as for the tooth pain and bleeding gums? I've strained the ligaments holding the tooth in place by clenching my teeth! The bleeding is just because of the irritation that's caused!! So all in all no bad news phew!! Had a good scale and polish too which is nice right before my holidays and now don't need another check up until Christmas time! So let's hope no more trips back to the dentist before then!!

Need to learn to relax, clenching isn't even something I'm aware I'm doing :(

Phew glad nothing major has gone wrong for your hols (no gappy pics :D ) and vits certainly won't hurt. Scurvy did make me chuckle!!! Xxx

My frickin teeth are getting right on my nerves!!!! The tooth I had filed down is aching :( well that's not strictly true, my cheek above the tooth is aching, not sure if it's my sinus or my tooth, seems a huge co-incidence that it's the same place as I've had work done. Tooth itself doesn't actually hurt. Trip to walk in centre I think in case it is sinus probs. could also be because I can't relax my jaw, I don't know how to relax :(

Booked back in a the dentist tomorrow :( still not sure if it's tooth or sinuses, but the bank holiday weekend is looming a long with my holiday so I really want to get it all sorted ASAP!!! Plus I'm sick of suffering. I just want to feel normal again :(

So apparently the filing of my tooth caused the tubules to be exposed which caused the toothache. I've now had fluoride treatment and had it sealed with glass ionimer. So once that settles it should be ok. He's had a good poke about and assures me there's no sign of infection, decay or anything else sinister with my teeth. I just need to try and relax. My facial muscles are so tight and sore, my jaw is sore too from tension. I'm struggling to relax!!!

Hi Sal,

I hope it is finally sorted. You might sider buying one f those mouth guards used by athletes, when you sleep. I used to grind my teeth when I was stressed.

4lbs off last night!! Getting there slowly, will hopefully be in the 13's next week!!

I'm going to get a mouth guard from Walgreens Mel, they're lots cheaper and a better fit than the sports type ones over here. If I have success with it I might get the dentist to make me one, but at £40 I'll have to be certain it's worth it!

Well done you and to get into the 13s next week would be brilliant pleased ya teeth are all ok and mouth guard is worth a shot I wore my teeth down from grinding and I didn't even know I was doing it  well done on 4 lbs xxxxxxx
