Susie's 2022 campaign

Not as cheesy as I would have liked hun, but nice to have something ready to eat when I walk in :)

And the flat looks fab, the lovely cleaner is definitely doing to be a regular treat for me!
 
Morning all :) No Leslie this morning, my knees protested too much, will see how they feel tonight - plus the cleaner (my treat for saving lots of £ by not smoking) turned up early! Not feeling the love for this cold weather - might do a long weekend to Italy in March, give me something to look forward to - and might aim for a 2 stone loss by then - I'm sure that's doable! :) B - grilled bacon (from the local cafe, with the fat trimmed off) and 2 bread (HEB plus 2 syns), coffee (milk synned 1) L - Mac n cheese (HEB), melon and coconut yogurt (1) D - beef casserole with mash (Laughing Cow segments 3) S - apples, crackers with cheese (4), Options drink with sugar free raspberry syrup (2) Syns 13

A Cleaner sounds like such a lovely luxury!!! How comes your Mac n Cheese was a HEB, what did you do with it? X PS-Hope you might have managed Leslie tonight? X

Ooops I meant HEA - the cheese in the Mac :D

And no Leslie tonight, my knees are really bad - must be the cold weather (I hope)! I'm going to do it when I can, but I don't want to hurt my knees more :( And Tracy said she didn't exercise while losing, so I'm not going to push it - but it's Day 18 of not smoking and boy di I notice a difference in my breathing when I'm walking along, which is fab :).

Time for crackers and cheese :D

Loving the cleaner replacing the ciggies - very good idea. I'd love a cleaner but my home so filthy I'm too embarrassed to recruit one :8855:

LOL I did clean up slightly beforehand :)

Struggling a little bit tonight, - had dinner, had my crackers (2), had a hot chocolate - and I'm still hungry. Water, fruit - all the good stuff is there - but my mind keeps flicking to the bowl of leftover pasta in the fridge...

That's right, no exercise for me! Please take care of your knees, Susie, I didn't appreciate mine until they were knackered!! :) xx

Exercise is more beneficial when maintaining than losing. It's roughly like 80% diet 20% exercise at most.
So don't worry too much about pushing yourself too hard.

I saw a study that showed that activity during the day, walking an extra stop, taking the stairs going shopping etc actually burns more calories than a 30 minute work out.
Moral of the story, rest your knees if they need resting and don't feel guilty about it!

So proud of you with the ciggies! Willpower of steal to give up smoking and diet at the same time. So make sure you give yourself some credit!
 
I've heard the 80:20 Rule quite a bit too! Exercise actually slows down my weight loss I think x

Well I did a fail last night - had a small bowl of the pasta with leftover quark and some parmesan and chilli, and then two Alpen bars - not happy, but it's done and WI this morning shows no damage - but also no loss, boo.

So it's back to including more miracle pasta in my evening meal to make me feel really full so I stop grazing. I think this must be another habit I've got to break, because I really don't understand why I do it. I wasn't that hungry, I told myself not to do it and yet I went ahead anyway!

B - omelette with herbs, mushrooms, spinach and bacon, tea (syn milk 1)
L - leftover mac n cheese (syn cheese 2)
D - chicken casserole with leek, broccoli and mushrooms
S - apples, yogurt, melon

Those Ready Meals look fab! Although £3 seems a bit steep for the veggie options I would choose, not bad for a back up though! What's miracle pasta? X

Did u make your casserole in a slow cooker? Glad u enjoyed it. I'm guessing that pasta is like the slim pasta in Holland n Barrett, always look but never brave enough lol x
 
Yes in the slow cooker hun - I love it, so simple - and just chucked in the beef leftovers from a couple of nights ago, some more veg and some skinny rice, for tomorrow :)
