Susie's First Diary - Advice welcome

Ok so I have been doing SW now for 4 weeks and in the first 3 weeks I lost 7lbs but last week I started exercising (going to the gym and doing weights as well as cardio) and gained 1.5lbs
I am still going to keep going to the gym as I feel better and my clothes are looser but have decide to write a diary on here in case its my food that is wrong.
I have back dated it to Friday my weigh in day

Friday - Red Day

Breakfast
2 Weetabix HEB1
semi skimmed milk from allowance HEA1
2 tsp sugar 2 syns


Gym Session

Lunch
Ham and cheese omelette
2 eggs
3 slices ham
cherry tomatoes
mushrooms
28g cheese HEA2
Banana
Muller light

Snack
2 clementines

Dinner
Birds eye beef in gravy
223g Jkt potato - Dry roasted HEB2
courgettes
carrots
Small slice of daughters pizza (210 cals) 11 syns

Saturday Red day

Tuesday Red Day

2 Dairylea light HEA1
2 slices of ham
6 cherry tomatoes
baked cheese and onion crisps 5 syns
nectarine

Dinner
Was planning a nice cheese and ham salad but terribly bloated and in pain from the scan bran so just going to drink some water for now

Had in the end mullerlight orange with sprinkles and 3 clementines and as soon as I had ate them the pain started again so went to bed with loads of water

Hi Susie, just came accross your diary!! Your food is looking great, plenty of superfree stuff, you're using your syns and having your HEXs so it all looks very balanced and looks like you're getting the hang of it nicely!! Well done on your losses, and I'm sure the gain is purely down to exercise! Well done for not being thrown or put off by this! I'm sure you'll see a really good loss next WI as you're doing all the right things! That Scan Bran will keep you 'going' too!! Good stuff but as you've learned it can make you a bit bloated, but to be honest I think that happens when you're not used to it so if it helps, keep at it! The ginger cakes look really yummy!!X

I'm reading it :)

It looks fine to me too - quick question as my diary is probably the same - your Brekkie & lunches are similar daily (like me) do you get bored?

Hi Kwise yes I do which is why I had boiled eggs for breakfast but it's backfired as I still feel bad from the scan bran. I've just had some clementines and a mullerlight and it's hurting again.

Also is the birds eye beef in gravy free? I never knew that! :)

Yes birds eye beef in gravy is free and it makes a really quick meal

I was going to have 5 as I had spread them on my scan bran but felt really ill after 3 scan brans and never ate the rest

Ok not sure if it was the scan bran or the fact I had no tea but I weighed in this morning and I have lost 3.5lbs this week and a SP yesterday had me 2lbs heavier...not sure if I'll be in a hurry to try it again though

Well today has started off with a lovely surprise on the scales, a 3.5lb loss and that is only after 4 days as I have changed my day to suit a challenge I'm doing

Wednesday Red Day

Breakfast
2 Weetabix HEB1
milk from allowance HEA1
2 tsps sugar 2 syns

Snack
Muller light rhubarb - My fav

Lunch
2 slices of wholemeal small loaf HEB2
2 tsp clover 3 syns
1 dry fried egg
3 rashers of bacon
tomatoes
bowl of strawberries and blackberries

Snack
Apple

Hour in the gym doing warm up 10mins on xtrainer and 50 mins weights

Dinner
2 slices ham
Salad - lettuce, tomatoes,radish etc
42g low fat cheese HEA2
1 tbsp extra light salad cream 1 syn
mullerlight
3 clementines

Total syns 6

I've still got some of the old style ones I bought last week so they're free at the moment. I did have the new strawberry one and thought it was a bit too set like a fromage frais so I hope the rhubarb one hasn't changed too much

Yeah I've changed it as I am doing a 12 week challenge and most of them weigh on a Wednesday. I started off on a Wednesday and only changed to a Friday for the first time last week so it's no big deal really
