    Hi everyone

I have a couple of recipes for some SW desserts, some of them are asking that I use Canderel and some are asking for Splenda. These recipes are not from SW's website, I just got them off the internet, so I'm wondering if it's just personal preference or do different sweeteners act differently when you cook with them?

    Thanks :) x

I have no idea, and just assumed that they were the same. I tend to buy the shops own brand, as it's much cheaper and use that for cooking. Same as seperate sweetners for my tea

I imagine they're basically the same so just cook with what you have. I buy shops own brand too but I can't stand the Tesco stuff, it just tastes bitter to me and used in cooking ruins the meal in my opinion. Maybe i'm just picky though.:p

I dont find a difference in cooking but some have an after taste when used on fresh stuff/in tea/coffee. I do find I need more than recipes say quite often too.
