Does anyone swim regularly to help with weightloss?

I was doing well losing weight but went on holiday and most of it has gone back on, i want it of asap!!

I do zumba twice a week so was thinking of swimming twice a week too?
Have you noticed a good change in your shape and weightloss?

And how many lengths/meters/time do you do in a session? xx
 
My doctor said its one of the best ways to lose weight.
I took his advice and went swimming twice a week and I it really toned my bum legs and arms.

week 1-2 total loss 8 1/2lbs

Might give swimming a go, been slack with exercise recently just concentrating on eating but wanting to get back into it! Might need to find a swimming buddy to give me motivation though x
 
Well i did it and it was okay, i feel great for it!! 46 lengths in 50mins (not sure if thats good or not).

I was going to have a buddy emmie but i thought better of it, it was scarey walking in for my first time but thats it. Sometimes i think a buddy can slow you down or stop you in your tracks as you might be having a good chin wag instead of exercising, but thats just me :)
