Hi Folks, im making crisps - just very thin potatoes slices/peels with frylight and seasoning in the micro. I then have them with 1/3 superfree raw veg or fruit. My question was I assume as a snack thats all syn free, its only that the potatoe of course is dried out, so thought maybe it might become a syn food rather than a free food.

making crisps like that isnt syn free i'm afraid. i'm not sure how it's synned- but it's abuse of a free food (like grinding down cous cous to make flour for a cake) so you have to syn it

You syn it as 1 syn per 20 calories ie as potato (raw weight) on a red day. Weight the potato before you cut it up, thats how many syns it is.
