taking the shakes abroad

if you need to travel, is there any restrictions on taking the shakes into another country. some foods are restricted like dairy products. or are they treated like other prescription medicine , just declare them

I have brought mine to Manchester, America and Spain and just put them in my case and some in my hand luggage and I was never stopped. i left them in my bag from chemist with all the instructions and also my receipt i think but no one ever said anything at all..
