Tattoos whilst on VLCD

Has anyone had a tattoo whilst on a VLCD? I was wondering if our low intake of calories would hinder healing time as I know a lot of other things slow down or stop whilst we are loosing so much weight. Any ideas?

I had one back in 2008 when on LT and it was fine. Fully healed in a couple of weeks

Nah I have plenty of tattoo experience, I think I have over 20 hours of work now, maybe even getting on for 30. I've had my eyeliner done today, but I wasn't sure if healing time would be slower. I'll let you know via my diary how it goes.
