Saturday 24th

breakfast was 5 scan bran 2 boiled eggs 1 tbsp Mayo
lush! Lol
lunch was 1/2scone oops! And coffee
tea was homemade burger salad and sw chips mmmmmm

syns used. Roughly. 10

Sunday 25th

breakfast was 5 scan bran, 2 boiled eggs, 2 rashers of bacon a tbsp mayo (1/2 syn)
1 litre of water
lunch is pork and apple casserole (2 syns), dry roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots and cabbage.
pudding apple betty with very low fat fromage frais (2syns)

Left for the week 27

Monday 26th

Weigh in day today!! Feeling a bit aprehensive, I always do!!..I haven't cheated and i've counted everything I've eaten..So we'll see what happens, I feel pretty confident though.

Breakfast was a bacon sarnie with coffee milk hea
mid morning I had 2 scan bran (1) and banana
lunch is free chicken salad..
I have pineapple for afternoon snack
I've had 1 coffee in work and 1 litre of water
Tea is mushroom stroganoff with rice..
I had 2 digestives 7

I had a ham sarnie bread is 9 syns oops
another coffee.

I am about to go and make the stroganoff now..ready for when OH comes home...

I lost a pound tonight, am well pleased with that.
I am trying to get to lose a stone for Christmas...
I may have to get exercising again..
I have 13lb to go in 8 weeks....A bit of a tall order for me the way things go, but I have to have a mini goal, and there are a few of us on here doing it, so it's a bit of healthy competition too....

Tuesday 27th

Breakfast as 2 slices toast
mid morning I had a banana
lunch was homemade veggy soup and 4 scan brans
snack as bacon sarnie (9)
pineapple and melon chunks
tea is homemade beef burgers, sweet potato chips and salad
had 4 coffees, no water today though for some reason, just didn;t feel like it.....

Wed 28th

feeling positive again, although had a shocking nights sleep!

Breakfast was bacon sarnie
mid morning I had a banana
lunch was chicken and ham salad
mid afternoon was melon and pineapple
i've had 4 coffees and 1 ltr water
5 scan bran (2.5) 2 boiled eggs and 2tbsp Mayo (3)
am having pizza topped chicken, sweet potato chips and salad
pudding is eton mess type thing (3.5)

It's getting late now and I have to go and finish preparing tea..
OH is on afternoons and don't get home til 22.30ish..
We'll eat then, I know it's late to eat, but we do this every other week..
He takes a food to work and I have a snack when I get in from work...

Thursday 29th

Ok day today, getting cold in the office, am going to stop having the salads for lunch soon, it's the weather for soups and stews...

Breakfast was a bacon sarnie
coffee
apple, banana
ham salad
pineapple and melon

1 litre water

I was very very bad when I got in....I was absolutely ravenous, which makes me think I have to stop the salad....
I had a portion of normal macaroni cheese....I made it last night for my daughter....It was macaroni, skimmed milk, flour, butter, cheese
probably about 10 syns....Even if it's less I am counting it as 10!!

Bingey day, I don't know why because after I had that had 5 scan brans with a little vlf philly & herbs!!
I shan't be eating when oH comes home from work.....That would be too much!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I may make a stew to take to work tomorrow....Not sure what with though....ooooohhh I have some steak in the freezer, I'll make a beef stew, I have loads of veg I can put in it..
Now I have an idea!! lol

Not sure what I'm going to make OH for food when he comes in....
Time to go and rummage through the freezer and cupboards....

Have been off Here for a few days and not logged any food!
I not very hopeful of a weight loss tomorrow! On my scales I have put on 2lb! My star week tho so not surprised really, it doesn't mean I'm not disapointed by it! I am I wish I could lose more than 1/2-1lb a week! Maybe getting a bit dispondant with it all!
I wll carry on though! I have lose this weight one way or another!

My sister has dropped 40lb losing half to one pound a week don't get despondent!!

I know I shall keep with it, sometimes you just want it to go a bit faster than it is! Lol
we take years putting it on and want it gone in months!
I'll get there in the end. I am so lucky I have a very supportive oh who is with me also in group, so he knows exactly how I feel and what to say to make things better
 
Right here we go!
I put on 11/2lb yesterday which to be honest wasn't as much as I was expecting. Even saying that I had been so down with whole sw thing that I decided to go and have a massive portion of fish Nd chips from the chip shop! I was absolutely stuffed when I finished but felt fantastic! It's hard to explain but I think I needed to do it to bring me back! I am determined to lose the gain plus more! Back on today and for the rest of the week. Only going one week at a time! I may nit lose a stone before Christmas but I'll do my best to lose as much as I can!
I feel souch happier about things this morning!
Spicy pork with stir fry and noodles for tea and mixed berry meringue for pudding!

Tuesday 3rd

Breakfast 2 wholemeal toast and butter (will syn later)
Got to stop the bread again!!
Have to be more organised with things for breakfast, for both me and OH....
I think I will make a breakfast quiche later and have that cold for breakfast....OH should like that too, he would slightly warm it in micro....Thats a thing for tonight....
I have decided to get back on the cross trainer too!! that has gone by the wayside lately since I was ill....I have no excuses now....Just laziness.....

Lunch I am having cottage cheese, 5 scan bran (2.5), cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks and I have fruit for throughout the day if I get peckish...
I have a choccy options for later too (2)

I had my lunch and it was lovely

I made the breakfast quiche which smells lush

Tea was a pork fillet covered in chinese 5 spice powder cooked with stir fry veg and egg noodles.
dessert was creamy fruit whip (3)

Had a litre of water and 4 coffees

Good day today....

Wednesday 4th

Started good today....
Made a quiche last night with WW sausages 1/2 syn each and bacon.

Breakfast 1/2 breakfast quiche (1) coffee

no mid morning snack as I forgot my banana and plums! doh!!
Was tempted to go to the vending machine thinking I could use some syns....But I looked on the SW website first to find out the syn values of certain chocolate bars and crisps....And made a decision not to go to the machine....I could wait til my lunch!!!!!!! Which I am having now..
5 scan bran (2.5), cottage cheese, carrot sticks and cherry tomatoes.
I have melon and mango for later....

2 ltr water
4 coffees
1 choccy options (2)

Tea was spiced lamb steaks, with sprouts, garden peas, little bit of mashed potato and roasted pepper, courgette and carrot.....
pudding was banana and low fat custard.

Had 3 crackers and 1/2oz cheese and glass of wne too

Thursday 5th

Breakfast was a quiche with bacon, WW sausage (1) onions, eggs and fromage frais..
Mid morning I had a banana
Lunch was 5 scan bran (2.5), carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes and cottage cheese
afternoon i had pineapple and melon

2 ltr water and 4 coffees

Out to eat daughters treat!!
I had steak, corn on the cob, onions, tomato, mushrooms. a few chips which I shall add 7 syns
2 gins (5)

Was very nice too...
I have to calculate all the syns I've had this week..
I will have to do it this evening after tea...
 
Friday 6th

Breakfast was a bacon sarnie (heb)
mid morning I had a banana and plum

Lunch is salad of tomato, lettuce, pepper, spring onion and cue, with 5 scan bran (2.5) and cottage cheese

Am on my 2nd litre of water and 3rd coffee..

Tea is chicken and spinach curry with rice and I may make some onion bhajis...
Didn't make bhajis OH made the most delicious garlic prawns mmmmmm
had 1 poppadom. Was lovely

had 1/2glass wine and a vodka very nice too!
Late night- early morning



Tomorrow is another day

I am going to make some pastry later so I can make a pudding for OH.
I shan't have any as I don't like the filling....I'll make something else for myself low in syns.....
Maybe I won't make the pastry I'll make him something low in syns too with the gooseberries I took out the freezer this morning.
I'll have a look in the recipe section for ideas..

Saturday 7th

ok day today, weather don't make things nice! Cold and wet weather makes you want to stay indoors and eat warming stodgy food!

Breakfast was 2 slices toast and coffee
lunch was 1/2cherry scone in Cadwalladers in town! Not good!
Not really eaten anything for lunch which isn't very good at all!
I've had a banana and 1/2 litre water

tea will be baked sea bass, new potatoes, mange tout and broad beans.
We are having a rare night alone just the two of us
looking forward to eating tea and having a few drinks with my lovely OH and watching a film or tv

lovely



Had 4 Captain Morgan rum and diet coke......(10)


Now to calculate the syns used this week...oops
Not bad....The total for the week is 69.5 syns
Under the weekly total, but I haven't counted Monday....So I am about on track I think.

We'll see when I weigh tomorrow

Breakfast was bacon, beans, mushrooms, egg and 1 slice toast
coffee
No lunch yet as I am not hungry.
But lunch is home made beef burger, (no bun), salad and garlic potatoes....

I've had 1 litre of water so far...a few coffees

Weigh in tonight, am not sure how i've done to be honest. Am not feeling very confident actually, don't know why...I have been good since Monday, not gone overboard with the syns. Monday was a no-no day anyway.
We'll see later....I suppose I always feel like this on a Monday...
If I lose 1/2 thats ok...I am not going to repeat last Monday anyway, I just have to get on with it and try to lose as much as I can...
I may go back to red and green and see what happens with the losses.
I think OH will stay on EE as it's easier for him...
It shouldn't be too much difference for me to change as if I am on a green day I just have to weigh the meat or fish...
I'll have a think about it and see where I should go...
I may have a chat with my consultant later and see what she suggests.....


Oh well I put n again!! a pound this week

I have spoken to my consultant and I suggested going back to red and green days, she agreed with me and also for me to do a food diary for her to look at..
So starting tomorrow I shall be on a green day.
All until tea shall be syn free or hex so I can choose what I have for me tea from my menu when I get home.....
I'll keep my OH on ee as he prefers that plan....
Hopefully things will change this week!!

Am gutted really....
I do try not to let it bother me too much, but its hard putting on 2 weeks in a row!!!!!!!!!

Green Day

Breakfast was egg sarnie (bread HEB) with 1tsp low fat mayo, coffee
banana and tangerine
Lunch was veggie soup and 5 scan brans
pineapple and melon
3 litres of water throughout the day
about 5 coffees

snack was 5 scan brans, 2 boiled eggs and 2tsp low fat mayo

tea was sw chips, beans, baked mushrooms and bacon (heb)

Scan brans on the packet says they are 1/2 syn each, but on the SW website they are 1 syn each! I shall have to query this in class Monday....

Wednesday 11th Green

lunch was homemade savoury rice....with courgettes, onions, carrots, mushrooms chick peas and chicken stock cubes....was very nice

snack of 5 scan brans and egg mayo....

2 litres of water throughout the day...5 coffees

Tea was baked cod - cod baked in the oven on tomatoes (tinned) onion, garlic and herbs, jacket potato and sprouts
pudding was apricot clafoutis (5) and some sweetened vlf fromage frais
