Hi There

Just a quick question. Why do Cambridge insist that everything is consumed within 15 minutes - will it decline the goodness in the packs that quickly?

This is why I ask - I have the tetras but I cannot face them runny so I blend them with ice to make a thick shake. Obviously I cant stand with my blender at work (im a teacher - too many sarky comments from colleagues to face it ..) so I blend it in the morning and put it in a vaccum flask for lunch so it is still frozen. I am just worrying now though that all my vitamins and minerals are dead and there's no point ..

Can anyone shed any light on the situation!

Thanks in advance :p

From what I remember it's that it starts to lose the nutrients and vitamins after 15 minutes. Bit of a pain as I find I can't drink them quick otherwise I feel sick

Same here ... ive been struggling to get it down me in 15 minutes, im a really slow eater! I am feeling well though so it's obviously not too bad! Hopefully there might be a helpful CDC on here who can help us out a bit more !

Have you tried the Tetra packs? They're wonderful - I save the sachets for home and have the tetras for work and when I'm out and about

My consultant told me yesterday that the shakes and soups have to be consumed within 15 mins or they lose their nutritional value.. The tetra bricks aren't affected by this rule apparently, so blending them in the morning for lunchtime shouldn't be a problem!
