Hi everyone
Well went to get an outfit for a friends wedding on Saturday, totally, totally disgusted with my fat cellulite ridden self.:cry:
Tomorrow is the start of my Slim Fast Plan, have around 5.5 stone to lose in all, I want to be able to get back into my wedding dress which is my ultimate plan.

I am posting this as I want it made public and also want to share my thoughts, weigh ins etc

Start Date:
Thursday 25th March – weight 14 st 9 llbs (2 llbs less than i thought)

Thursday 1st April

Thursday 9th April

Thursday 16th April

Thursday 23rd April

Thursday [hope to have lost my first stone by now] 30th April

Exercise is gonna be my cross trainer starting at 25 mins per session 4 times a week then gradually increase by 5 mins a time after the first week

good luck sammi i have lost 8 pounds so far been swimming today for an hour went walking yesterday for 2 hours got another 2 days off work so making the most of all the exercise while i can iwill be on my fourth week on friday i weigh in each tuesday loving the tescos ultra slim seems to have found something that works plus my mind set is there too so you can and will do it honest

Thanks, let keep in touch, I have a couple of those tesco versions as well, am gonna do 25 mins on the cross trainer tonight, and am gonna stock up on ready meals as I struggle to work out calories otherwise…..you are doing well, I cant wait to start seeing the scales coming down I really cant…got a holiday in greece booked for early September so want to be thin and feel good about myself xx

I walk to work (4miles in total a day) and am going to try and use my cross trainer but i tend to lose motivation for it once i get home! also have something on my wii i could do but again, im too tired!

However, just think how you're going to look in those photos when you do lose the weight :D

i did kind of start yesterday but had a work do after work and so out for food and drink, so today have gone off the rails as had a hangover....but starting fully 100 per cent tomorrow, just felt so rough today and in bed now as i type this...if i walk to and from work that is roughly 3 miles in total so that would help wouldnt it...and then try and do 20 mins on the cross trainer as many days as possible should be enough exercise do you think - have got my shopping being delivered tomorrow and got some nice low fat ready meals so i dont have to think about cooking, am hoping i can shift 3 llb a week - how are you finding it xxxx

hi, i did kind of start yesterday, bit of a long story but tomorrow is officially the proper start date, i wanted to get my mindset and taste the shakes etc to see how i thought i would be....so raring to go, if i walked to and from work that would be just under 4 miles which would mean i could get away with 20ish mins on the cross trainer at first whilst i start to get fitter.....when is your first weigh in, mine is gonna be tomorrow then every thursday....am hoping for 3 llb a week loss..xxx

Good luck with it all. keep us posted any questions then there is a mountain of knowledge in this forum. I have good weeks and bad ones however short term goals help me get through the bad times.

im finding it better than i thought! managed to stick to it 100% the first 2 days, however this morning i was made breakfast of eggs, so think i will have to swap breakfast and dinner around today! didnt want to waste food :( they know im on a diet now so hopefully i wont have to stray again. was a nice gesture tho not often i get breakfast in bed!

however i have been getting really bad headaches towards the evening, i can only assume its because of the diet. oh and some wind :S

other than that its going good :)

yeah walking to work will help, ive also found that my legs are more toned now too :D although i did start walking to work back in jan but its all exercise and buring calories! i have a stepometeron my phone, try to aim for 10,000 a day. not been hitting it recently! but the x trainer is a brill idea as its one of the best pieces of equipment as it works your whole body, better than a treadmill!

You headaches could be down to dehydration try to ensure that you drink water throughout the day. This can also help with hunger pangs.

i drink atleast a litre during the day then more in the evening. mind you it hasnt been as bad today so they might be going :)

Hi girls, really busy day at work today, got a wedding outfit, but not looking forward to putting it all on…..anyway, onwards as they say, had 1 pack of slimfast cheddar bites and 1 banana, got a tesco ready meal, low cal tonight, got my shopping coming around 7pm ish and have ordered enough ready meals for a week, apart from sat as at the wedding….
My god though! I have absolutely terrible wind, its really awful whilst sitting at my desk……it’s a nitemare, does it get any better????
Am gonna do a session on the cross trainer tonight, can only manage 25 mins at the mo, am going to start walking more next week, but with the rain and bags of shopping its not ideal to walk tonight, tomorrow am on an earlier shift, but depending on the weather may well walk home…like you said its all calorie burnings.

im back at work sat till tuesday cos of the 4 on 4 off shift i do. went swimming yesterday loved. did 30 day shred this afternoon only managed 20 mins of it wow how hard is it.. but i suppose 20 mins is good for me lol.. still loving the ultra slim its part of my day now i do 20 touchy toes before i get in bed and 20 sit ups when im laid in bed hopefully this will quicken weight loss up or at least tone me a bit

How much room do you need to do that 30 day shred, I found the video on the internet but don’t have a lot of room to lark about in my house…lol
I didn’t use the cross trainer last night, have been really, really unusually tired this week….tonight I hope to get on it for 25 mins at least which is all I can manage at the moment (in my slim days I used to be able to do an hour, hence why I was slim I guess, that is what I want to get back to), to be honest have been stressing about feeling yuky at the wedding tomorrow, I spent a fortune on an outfit and yet I know I am gonna lot so tubby…..got to get tomorrow out of the way…..got a fair few friends staying tomorrow night cos of the wedding and bought some bacon and fresh bread for Sunday morning, but am hoping they don’t stay too late as I want to get on the cross trainer again…am cooking quorn homemade bolognaise on Sunday as that is low fat…then back to my ready meals from Monday, gonna start exercising more and more as really want that 3llb loss each week and come next Thursday I want to be able to say I achieved it………..

about the wind, it does get better! its my 4th day today and not evena hint of stomach upset! i know what you mean about sitting at your desk :crazy:!
i know what you mean about feeling tubby, for the time being ive invested in a body stocking, it helps! cost just under 50 (its goes from thighs to boobs!) but damn its makes me look and feel better until i can get to a better size!

i did however get really bad pains in my stomach last afternoon, i dont know whether it was hunger or trapped wind, i think the latter, but my god it really hurt!

finding it really easy to stick to! havent been on the cross trainer yet but as i walk 4 miles a day i think ill do it on the weekends where im lucky if i take 100 steps!

how you finding it?

Hi guys. I've been on Slimfast properly for about 18 days but have used them for a couple of years on and off so I think my tolerance for them has meant I don't seem to suffer from wind.

I only use the cafe ones and I think I've worked out why: a rich creamy coffee makes me think of breaks when I'm clothes shopping or meeting friends at Starbucks. Strawberry/any fruit makes me think of yoghurts which I only eat when I'm on a diet. This seems to apply to banana and vanilla both of which taste synthetic. Which is your favourite and why?

Hi guys, sorry not been in touch, had the wedding which was a very long day on Sat, and yesterday as we had lots of friends stay over it all went to pot with hangovers, bacon sarnies etc………..and today, even though have stuck to the plan and am having a nice healthy dinner of quorn bolognaise, I feel in dire need of red wine, but if I do succumb am going to be back to normal tomorrow, just had a really horrible day today, plus had a horrible evening last night and want to have a nice one tonight

How is everyone else doing…….easter is gonna be hard, but am having quiet days on the Fri and Sat, its just the Sun and Mon with loads of friends round, but you have to enjoy life as well don’t you…..xxxx

You sure do need to have fun otherwise what's the point of anything. Let's be honest, having a good time is probably where most of us acquired at least some of our weight (I love wining and dining with friends).

Glad you enjoyed the wedding. Now just make a fresh start tomorrow and forget the last couple of days diet-wise.

Hey, thanks, just wish I didn’t feel so flippin tired and unwell this week, my exercise regime is non existent due to lack of energy and I ache everywhere…..am really gonna try tonight as my first weigh in is tomorrow…….if I to today (wed), thur, sat, mon then I will be on schedule for 4 a week…….how are you !!! x

Sorry you feel rough Sammi.

Lost 3lbs this week without starving myself which has been really good. Helps if I stay off the booze - they're empty cals but worse, my willpower just disappears if I have a drink. Someone at work asked me if I've lost weight today and I was sooooooooooo chuffed.
