Okay, well I only lost 0.5lbs today..... but on the plus side a loss IS a loss! It means I achieved my January Challenge target. And am only 2lbs away from my silver 7 (3lbs away from my 5%).

Not sure why such a poor loss this week. feeling a bit blocked up (sorry for TMI)... and i wonder if it's because I have bananas with my bran flakes every morning, and not drinking enough water, and having too much chocolate (even if it IS in my points). Hmmm... anyone care to give any suggestions. Not going to let it dampen my week - gonna make changes of the list above, and hope for a better week next Monday :)

I got a STS this week, and i know how frustrating it is when you think you did well and the scales dont give you the result you want :( But you have lost first week, and maybe your body needs time to catch up.

Some people say they need to use their weeklies to get a good loss so maybe try using some of your weeklies to shock your metabolism abit..But im sure next week you will get a bigger loss, and just visualise that half a lb as half a lb of butter it is a nice visualisation :)

Well a STS is much better than a gain! I'm having my weigh in tomorrow ek my mum is doing is ha so no cheating.

I've worked the soup out as 1pp per bowl considering its mainly all free veg. The weekend killed me though i went way over on sat and Sunday. Used 54 extra including my weeklies but hopefully my exercise helped.

I'm chemistry and science. This week has been tough so I've been snacking on carrots to ease the stress eating.

Thanks starkissed and kimbo :) I know, when I got a 0.5lb in my 3rd week of SW (after two weeks of good losses) I was mortified. I had practically starved myself to ensure a good weightloss which backfired on me! Then I lost alot the following week :) I suffer from bad TOTM and recurring bladder infections and have utmost stress from Uni... I think sometimes it all gets too much for my body even though in my mind it's normal so I don't feel stressed.
However this week, I looked at my 0.5lb and thought to myself... it's still a loss. It's not a race. I haven't starved myself this week. I've eaten delicious food all week. Bring on next week :)

I mean if it gets to 3 weeks down the line and i'm only getting 0.5lbs every week, then i will have to evaluate what's happening! This week I've cut down on the chocolate/desserts (even though they're WWs) and am not having bananas for breakfast every day. Am also going to try and up my water intake but do find it difficult to remember tbh! So bring on Monday :D

Aww Kimbo, hope your week improves! If you like jelly i would recommend making a few pots of WW jelly, its 0pp for 1 pot :) I tend to have lots of fruit to keep the hunger away, while always thinking of what a lovely dinner i will be having in the evening after uni!

Feeling a bit nauseous tonight. Not sure if it's something going around, or from some senekot tablets i took earlier (which im regretting because nothing's happened and i've got uni tomorrow lol consequences!!) Hopefully will pass after a good nights sleep :)

Not aching much from PUNCH class yesterday, my big toe is still very sore. Not sure why though. Ill fitting shoes mainly (though only one toe out of ten lol) Did PE (Games) today, which had me out of breath (woo!) and 20mins walk from the station to uni and back (stopping off at a few shops in between!) Got Body Pump again tomorrow, think i'll try and up my weight this week... though will regret it Friday when I can't raise my arms further than my waist lol xx

That's it, to be honest I'm hoping for a STS this week. I know I didn't stick to my points and went over but I'll allow it this week as I'm only getting back into it!

I also went to bootcamp tonight so that's gotta help. What's punch class? Sounds fantastic I much prefer classes than the gym. Do you ladies? I've sat down and made a dinner shopping list, now its all about portion control.

Stress does strange things to the body. I take 5 mins at the final bell just to get my head straight again. Try keep water on your desk?. Or at least one bottle in your bag.

I bought a funky lil flask and I fill it up as much as I can. The classes I have think its really funny. Worried bout weigh in.

My mantra now is if you keep doing what your doing you keep getting what you get. So I gotta make those changes. Well done bugs a positive outlook is half the battle.

Starkissed your doing great every STS is not a gain.

PUNCH was good but intense lol! You pair up and one of you has the pads and other the gloves (i paired up with my OH, oh the fun!!) You do combinations then some running/lunges/star jumps, and sit ups and its just alot lol! BUT by the end of it it was okay! Not sure if OH wants to go back again though lol.

I think what I like about classes is that they are pushing you, and you're around other people doing the same thing which makes you up your game a bit. Whereas noone knows how long you're running on the treadmill for or how many sit ups you have to do so you let it slip when it gets ''hard'' - i know i do lol!

Ooh love the flask idea :) Don't be worried, I hope it goes well for you!!

I had a sneaky look on the scales this morning - 10st 11.5 so that's a 1.5lb loss (though my scales make up whatever they want so will not get complacent, still have 5 days of dieting to go before official WI) BUT at least theres some movement lol.

No body pump for me tonight. It's too cold. I'm too tired after a rubbish nights sleep. And my body is aching. But will make up for it tomorrow or Saturday :)

Okay so I'm up one pound, no one to blame but myself and Liverpool. I'm back with my game face on. Just really annoyed tbh.

Yeah I haven't been sleeping well and its so hard to motivate yourself when its cold!

Don't worry about it at least it was only a pound. Imagine what you will lose when youre sticking to it!! Here's to a 100% week dear! X

Okay so nearly weigh in time again! I have stuck to my 26pp since Monday. Not going to use any weeklies. Hope scales are kind to me!

I am going to use my weeklies next week, probably 7pp extra a day (even like an extra bowl of cereal/toast of an evening). I would like to see if having MORE points could improve my weightloss like it has for many on this forum.... however i am scared in case it ruins my weight loss so far :/ risk i'll have to take!!

My OH has gone to Newcastle this evening (a day earlier due to the stupid snow) to visit his family. And I shall be spending my weekend trying to write my personal statement/CV in order to apply for teaching posts soon (though not much available at the moment so i still have some time!). Also considering resubmitting an essay to get Masters level pass... i got Honours. Though apparently it wont affect my job prospects i just wont get the 60 masters credits... what a pickle!

I'll finish this post on a high:-

A few highlights this week:
* Wearing my size 12 super tight jeans again (it's been at least 7 months since they've ventured out my wardobe!) (see pics)

* being able to have my FAVOURITE dinner (homemade pitta kebab) while on a "diet" hehe only 13pp in total! (see pic)

* my dad caught a mouse that's been living behind our dishwasher. we had one we caught during the week and set free... and now another one! lol darn cats! (see pic)

* Having a good work out at the gym today - lots of running/incline on treadmill, weights, x6 12reps of leg weights, powerplate, and some weights to sort out these bingo wings hehe! Felt great afterwards!

Wow your food looks great. Last night was girls night out. Normally I go mental ha we always get great big food platters yum. Four wedges and five cocktail sausages all pointed.

I felt so good looking at that pile of food and saying no more. Also with the drink we normally all get creamy cocktails. no more ha I know It's funny but I was proud to say no. I'm in control, currently waiting on aroast dinner my treat. Only two small spuds on for me.

I get weighed tomorrow in bootcamp and measured. I wonder if the pd I put on is gone?
