I'm starting SnS today to try lose the final stone. In the last 9 months I lost 3st, I've done Lipotrim for 6 weeks and a combination Atkins/low cal/low carb/fasting, the list goes on, you name it I've done it!
Christmas came and I put on around 10lb and since then I've struggled to lose it! Did Atkins again, lost 6lb put then put it back on in a weekend of boozing and eating!
So here I am, I have nothing planned for the next few weeks so going to give this a go. My packs arrived today. I was at work when they arrived, I left home at 5am and didn't get back til 2pm, so had some poached eggs at work for breakfast, not ideal but tomorrow will be better.
so today's menu goes like this
    B- 2 poached eggs
L- spicy spaghetti pack (surprisingly nice!)
D- 100g chicken breast and 200g veg (spinach or broccoli)

Feel free to pop by with tips and suggestions all help appreciated!

    Thanks in advance Sam

Good luck with it. I love the spicy spaghetti with lots of black pepper. Hope you find lots of the other packs that you like.

    Day two

Had a long talk with the other half last night and we've decided to go back to low carb after this 1st week! What a pain in the a**e I am! Start one diary then move on to another diet!

    Anyway day 2 food:-

    B- Raspberry shake
    L- Chilli pack
    D- Chicken salad
    S- Truffa bar

I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 2lb, really happy with that! :)

Day 3 another 1lb down this morning :)

    B- Choc truffa bar
    L- Spag bol pack
    D- Spinach omelette?
    S- caramel shake

I like this diet, the shakes are nice and the meal packs are not bad too! If I was dieting by myself I'd probably stick at this another couple of weeks. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

    Wow! You're melting away!
I'm alright I guess finally got used to living without conventional food (I'm doing simplicity), just really want to know how much I've lost so far but scales not working  ordered new batteries so hopefully will find out soon!
I was already dieting (calorie counting, sort of low carb as well) before S&S but hit a plateau so doing this for a kick start atm. So realistically last week I might have only lost a pound or two - if I'm lucky. Still, a loss is a loss :bliss:

I think you'll be surprised once you finally get on the scales!! Is this your first time doing a VLCD? I've done Lipotrim before and it was very hard! Managed to stay on it for 6 weeks, couldn't do it again though, I've done a couple of days here and there on it but that's all I could manage! When did you start? and When do your batteries arrive?

Weight STS today, didn't have a snack last night again.

    B - Banana Shake
    L - Chocolate shake
D - Pulled lamb ( not within the calorie limit of SnS but it will be low carb)
    S - caramel shake?

Did cambridge before, lived on 3 shakes a day for 4 months without cheating  Lost just over 4 stone but then put it all back on (and some) as I didn't move up the steps properly but just started eating....Lots... I won't make the same mistake this time though, learned my lesson. :(
Nah I don't think I've lost that much, hopefully a few pounds though fingers crossed. I've already been dieting quite strictly since the end of august and lost 4 st 2lb on my own. But it eventually stalled so I wanted to try a vlcd again. Batteries will probably arrive on Monday, and I'm waiting patiently...NOT! :rant2::innocent0001::whistle:
You're going great :) I didn't order any shakes; only meals, porridge and bars this time. Are they nice? CWP ones were REALLY lumpy. Ready made ones (tetra packs) were yummy though. Wish S&S had that option.

4 months!! wow thats good going! Are you planning on staying on SnS for that long too? The shakes are really nice by the way much better than the LT ones, but I love the bars!
So yesterday didn't go to plan, I didn't have any products but ate the Atkins woe which is what I'm planning on doing now.
I started VLCD last Sunday at 11st6lb and weighed in this morning at 10st13lb so that 7lbs in 7 days, very happy with that! I would highly recommend this diet to anyone. For me It has helped with my carb cravings, I'm not craving any more I actually couldn't care less about them at the moment but if I do fall off the low carb wagon I still have some products left and I will use them to curb the cravings.
I've started my new diary in the Atkins section to keep me on the straight and narrow. Good luck with SnS I'm sure you'll do great like before! :)

I guess so :) I have a long way to go - about 5 stone to lose by august so I'll most likely stick with SnS.
7 lbs in 7 days wow that's a great loss! Especially when you don't have much to lose, well done  and good luck on your Atkins journey :hug99:
