The good news is that my doctor signed my forms wooohooo!!! So I can now officially start CD in the next couple of days!!

The really, really bad news is that she weighed me and I am significantly heavier than I thought I was :cry::cry::cry: 156kg (24.5stone!) to be exact I'm so upset and ashamed

Ok it might have been a shock but just think this is the last time you will ever weigh that much....
You are going to be slim!!!!

Arm yourself with all the motivation you can.... Don't be ashamed of yourself! Be proud that you have taken control of your situation!!!

Hey well done Paula for taking these steps! This diet, in my opinion, is brilliant and given that at times it can be hard, means that we all stick together and help each other. I am still getting to know people here as it's only my second week on the diet but I have to say that the people here have been 100% behind me and all of us behind each other.

I can't wait for that day Tilly! I'm just about over the shock of the weight now.. it was just unexpected. I mean, I thought it was around 22st and that would have been bad enough. Anyway, it's done now, and it can only get better from here. XX

Don't be ashamed, you are who you are and you know that is about to change. Look at me I started at the end of February and it has been onwards and downwards.

There are loads of lovely people on mm who will always be there for you on your journey, so hold your head up high, and look forward to your new future.

I no how you feel when my cdc weighed me for the first time i was so up set at how much i weighed,but look at my ticker now its only been 6 weeks (next weigh in tonight). just shows how good this diet is if you stick to it 100%. Absolutely fabulous welcome and good luck with your first week only advice i can offer is take it day by day dont look at the bigger picture dont think oh ive got X amount to loose i weigh this much look at it like id like to drop a dress size for such and such occasion find an event in the near future to aim for make realistic goals and work towards them it doesnt matter where you start its where you finish and how your going to feel when you get there that really matters best of luck x
