The Princess Diaries ♥ (DIARY CLOSED - LINK TO NEW DIARY ON LAST PAGE)

Hey Hun hope you are doing ell.

Glad you had an amazing time, I too have a dislike for mr Martin but I can fully appreciate the scale of the shows that they put on an think for fans of the band they must be incredible live!

Sorry you've had a dodgy week, I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things after moving so I know how frustrating it is! I'm sure you will have lost any gains sharpish with your fab attitude!

Katie xxx

Gosh, so much dislike for Mr Martin...you lot are craaaazy ;) He blows my mind!

Thanks Katie! I know I'm going to gain tonight, but I'm okay about it. I know I have been bad this week, and am fully expecting it, which makes it a lot easier than an unexpected gain.

Hope that everything is good with you hun. Have been AWOL from Mini's for a while and have missed all of my lovely friends. Hope your move etc. went well and looking forward to catching up with you xxxx

He's like marmite, you either love him or hate him.

Im with you Stevie, I LOVE Coldplay! :D my friend Martin absolutly hates them though, and he's in a band!

Sending you as many positive vibes as possible for tonight hun xx

Thank you hun, I think they worked!! I never thought I'd say this, but I'm absolutely thrilled to have gained 1lb!! After a whole week completely off plan, that's pretty good going, so I'm really happy with it. Thinking about the bigger picture, and in the last 2 weeks I've still lost 3lb :)

Going to have a Fast Forward week (or as many days as I can) this week to give me a boost and get back into the swing of things. I know a lot of you didn't seem keen on the sound of FF, but it's something I enjoy, and I know it gives me a great weight loss. I have 2.5lb to go until my 2st award, and I'd love to get that for next Tuesday!

Can't wait to start afresh. Thanks for all of the support everyone, as always!!

Glad the result was better than you predicted!!

What is FF Hun? Xx

Fast Forward hun - it's a seperate plan which really isn't anything like Slimming World. IMO, it's more like Weight Watchers. Basically, no foods are 'free' and everything is measured in 'units' - there are no such thing as superfree, free, syns, etc.

It pretty much focuses on a low calorie intake, and can give really good weight losses, although it's not recommended that you follow it for more than 1 week at a time as it's so drastic. There are set meals that you have to stick to, between 5 and 8 units each, and then snacks which are either 1 or 2 units. It's something you'd have to speak with your consultant about, as it's really tailored to each individual - everyone gets a set number of daily units to use, depending on your weight etc xx

Good morning everyone! Hope all is well. I'm really pleased to be starting afresh with my food diary and hopefully get back into the swing of things after a week out of routine and completely off plan. Still feeling happy with my small gain last night - it could have been a lot worse, 1lb is nothing in the grand scheme of things. I've still lost nearly 2st (I usually get to 1st, get bored and give up!)

Anyhoo, I am at a funeral this afternoon and feel that Fast Forward will not be very achievable today as I am unaware as to when/what I will be able to eat. Going to stick to Extra Easy (or maybe even Success Express, depending how much SuperFree is available etc.) for the day, and determined to be 100% - line drawn, fresh start, back on the wagon!

Will be trying FF again tomorrow. I think my plan of action will be to stick to FF as much as I can throughout the week, and then back to EE over the weekend so that I can have a bit more freedom and to stop me becoming bored and having a binge.

Not a great deal planned for today, but will be updating throughout. Have a great day everyone :)

Had a fantastic day back on plan yesterday. Feel completely refreshed and focused! I have had another change of mind though. I have decided that, although I love FF, I am going to stick to EE this week. I don't want to abuse FF, as it really should only be used when desperate. I know I can get great results from EE too, when I stick to it 100%, so that is what I shall do :)

Here goes my second day back on plan...

sorry ive been off radar for a week or two, but so pleased that ff worked for you. hope that you have a good week, x

Hey hun, nice to have you back! Not to worry, I was AWOL last week too lol :D

I really enjoyed FF, and it gave me a great result. I'm going to try not to abuse it though, and try and stick to EE unless I really find myself stuck in a rut and needing that extra boost.

Hope everything is going well for you x

Cheesy coleslaw looks scrummy hun - how do you make it!? Would love some of that with my salads!! X

Sure! I just chopped one onion and one clove of garlic and softened them in a pan (without browning them). Chop up a mixture of different mushrooms (I used closed and chestnut) and add them to the pan to cook. Add 1.5 pints of vegetable stock and simmer. Take off the heat and add 1bsp 0% greek yog for creaminess. Pop into a blender and blitz until smooth. Voi la, as easy as that! :) x

Thanks hun, really easy to whip up! I just grate one carrot, half a white cabbage and roughly chop one onion. Bind the whole thing together with 0% greek yogurt (I sometimes add a splodge of Quark too, to make it a bit richer). That's the basic coleslaw mix, although I often add 45g reduced fat cheddar from my HExA just to make it even more yummy. It's become a bit of a thing at my group, as I make it all the time!! It's know as "Stevie's Coleslaw" lol! Enjoy x

What a day!! It's absolutely pelting it down here, and is only meant to get worse over the weekend. Lovely! And now, in all of the mad rush to make sure I had my coat, sensible shoes and umbrella, I have forgotten my lunch! Not that it matters, as I can nip out and get a jacket potato, but I'd made homemade onion soup last night and was really looking forward to it! It was a bit of an experiment really, but it tastes just like the real deal! Nevermind, I'll have it for tea tonight.

Have a feeling today is going to be a loooong day. On the positive side though, I have been back on plan 100% for the past 2 days - today will be the third, without fail!! Also, ma & pa are home this afternoon. I've really missed them and am looking forward to seeing them.

Hope everyone has a great Friday, even if it is a bit soggy and miserable...

Well thankfully the rain has stopped here!! Hopefully it will dry up a bit for you too. Can't think of anything worse than camping in wet weather lol.

Onion soup was really easy to make. It doesn't really sound like much, but it's really tasty! I can't wait to have it later on tonight. I just sliced 2 onions and browned in a pan with frylight. Add 1pint veggie stock and 1tbsp marmite. Simmer, and voi la! Easy as that :)
