Sorry about your WI result this week .
BUT focus on the positives and im sure you will have a fab week ahead..youve had alot on yer plate this week,you went to your WI knowing you would have a gain and that is an achievment in itself hun..most peeps would give it a miss...
So heres to a brand new 100% week..i know you can do it :)

Thanks for the support ladies, you're all too kind! Fuzzy, I'm inspired by you and Fitz and your 100% week. I think I may join you guys. I really need to get my head down and get on with it. I've jumped straight back onto the diet wagon today. It's the start of a new month so it seems rather fitting that I get right back into the swing of things. I got some right funny looks on the bus home from my meeting-I was munching on a Tesco Melon & Grape pot-the people on the bus were looking at me like I was mental! I WAS on the scally bus, I'd have fit in more had I been drinking a bottle of White Lightening :rolleyes:

Not weigh in until Monday, but even if it's not what I'm hoping for I will carry on another week as I am sleeping better, clothes feel better and god does it make ya feel better mentally with every day that goes by.

Well I got back into it today, does this count as a 100% day?

Breakfast 2pts
Tesco Melon and Grape pot 1pt
Yeo Valley fat free natural yogurt 1p

Lunch 5pts
300g jacket potato 3pts
2 cans WW Tuna in tomato and herb dressing 2pts

Pre Workout 3.5pts
Strawberry n cream protein powder 2.5 made with 300ml skimmed milk 1pt

Dinner 6pts
M&S Cherry tomato and beetroot salad (without the salad cream) 1pt (according to e source-but without the cream it's just veg, shouldn't it be zero??)
115g Light Chopices beans 1.5pts
x4 dark rye ryvita 2pts
x2 tablespoons of extra light Philadelphia 1.5pts

Snack 1.5pts
1.5 tablespoons of sunflower seeds 1.5pts

EDIT: Should also add that my liquid intake today has been a cup of green tea (not too sure if I like it, I felt a bit sick afterwards) and oodles of water. I've spent most of my day in the loo! Sorry, TMI. lol

I'm still a bit unsure about activity points. At the minute I'm trying to get used to The Biggest Loser dvd, which obviously includes a strength workout. From what I gather people are divided about whether or not to point a weights workout. Now I know I'm out of shape but the strength and fatburn workout on that dvd is bloody hard! Each time I use it I'm absolutely dripping with sweat. Surely a workout like that is worth pointing? :confused:

Yhanks M ma'dear. Day 2 will start as soonas I can be bothered dragging my backside downstairs to see what there is for me to eat. Very tired today, was kept awake until well into the wee small hours thanks to a very grumbly tummy tum. I can kind of understand it, although I didn't feel hungry yesterday, I didn't put about 4000 calories into my body like I had done all week. And there was no midnight snacking either. So I think I did quite well there!

Thanks hun, I shall have to keep my eye on the Sci fi channel tonight. It's a shame Buffy isn't repeated as much as Friends, Smallville etc... Do you watch Supernatural at all? I absolutely LOVE that show! Yes, I have no social life at all. Not during summer anyway, when the footie's on I'm never in! :rolleyes:

Well, day 2 is about 3/4 over, and I think I've done okay. Actually I'm absolutely stuffed and I still have my third meal of the day!

Today's menu so far:

Breakfast 4pts
50g Light Choices Bran Flakes with 1/4 pint skimmed milk 3pts
200g M&S Pineapple chunks 1pt

Lunch 8pts (but sooo worth it!)
6 Quorn Chicken Style Dippers 3pts
250g Light Choices straight cut oven chips with vinegar and a can of sugar free Diet Coke 5pts

Snack 2pts
SlimFast chocolate caramel bar 2pts

So I have 4 points left and as I said, I'm stuffed. I reckon at most I'll squeeze in a can of WW soup and some ryvita. I'm considering whether or not to have the bottle of Coors Light that's been calling my name from the fridge-it's 1.5 points. I've had the 'a little of what you fancy as long as it's in within your points' attitude today. Seems to be working so far! :p
 
I think the "little bit of what you fancy within your points" is a good idea.. makes the diet easier and takes away the cravings that lead to binges :)

True, I'm thinking that it was my being too uptight that helped me binge for a week. Along with the stress of the week etc...

Plus, I've realised that I can't be a points bore when the footie season starts, there's no way I'm giving up my pint of Stella during the game. I'll have to stop being a total wino and have a bit of everything in moderation. I've had chips and choccie today and can still have a bottle of beer. All on 18 points. Feel like a WW genius today.

last night I went to bed feeling rather smug with myself about being able to have a beer and still have half a point left-beer and strawberries was a combination I'd considered but decided against. Retrospectively I should've skipped the beer and had a bowl of cereal. I went to bed at around midnight and by 1.30am I was so hungry I felt like being sick, I was on the verge of tears so I raided the cupboards and had several slices of toast, and then slept like a biddy baby! I'm giving serious thought to joining Slimming World, because this just isn't working for me at the minute :(
 
do whatever suits you hun, though if you want things like beer, chocolate, crisps etc.. its more restricted on SW as the diet is based more on unprocessed foods - could you not try and tailor your WW diet around those ideals? few more free veg at lunch / dinner etc?

i read somewhere that you should curb nighttime eating - not only cause your metabolic rate is at its lowest but also cause it causes you to feel hungrier earlier again as you're not using the energy you take in correctly.. how late did you have your tea the night before? maybe that couldve made you feel hungry again? x

I've been trying to incorporate more fruit and veg into my diet, I'm getting more and more little green diamonds on my online tracker, but I'm still hungry. i have a m,assive appetite, and to be honest I much prefer a HUGE great big bowl of cereal or pasta to a bag of crisps or bar of chocs, which is why Core worked better for me last time. I did try to talk to my leader about Simply Filling on saturday but she just brushed it off really-it's like WW want to totally forget about this other type of plan. I'm so confused as to what to do next :confused:
 
You have to fit the diet to your life, not the other way around otherwise you'll never stick to it long term. My understanding is that ww have abandonded the core plan but lots of people are still following it successfully on their own.
thats why i went over to calorie counting, felt i was just eating the same things all the time cos they fitted in with my points.
