The shrinking violets official thread - Team 1

It's a tough one. Been at that crossroads many times and have always stuck with CD in the end. I just feel if I come off it I will never get back on again and I want to get to goal and come off it very gradually by going up the plans, and not just switch coz I am sick of it. I just wouldn't trust myself and to be honest, I can't be bothered learning all the ins and outs of a new diet right now, having to buy in all the foods etc.

It is up to you. You know what will work best for you depending on how you feel. But I don't see why you can't up your exercise, do more weights? CD has never stopped me exercising as much as I want to. I know muscle weighs more but I reckon it earns its keep in that it raises your metabolism and helps you burn more cals even at rest. I certainly haven't noticed exercise/muscle increasing my weight.

Well good news I got that Vehicle Admin job!!

I cant believe it, just shows ya I should have a bit more confidence in myself, Interview must of went better than I thought, so this is an incentive to go for CD, Wanna make a good 1st impression to my new work mates.. lol

Keith gets made redundant next Friday so need to get him sorted with a new job next.. :(

Anyway going round me mates tonight to celebrate with a few drinks.. As ya do!! (its only Vodka)
So I promise that from Sunday I will be giving it my all for a few weeks.. I will weigh in on a Friday as its easier for me..

Anyone wanna go in a little water challenge with me from Monday?

I will prob be on over the weekend hopefully although really busy the weekend..

Well done Kelly! Of course you got the job! We knew you deserved it! Happy to do a water challenge with you, even though I know you will win, because no-one downs the H2O like you can! I'm gonna go for 2.5 litres on Monday and Tuesday and see how I get on. Then up it to 3litres. What about you?

Yes, I agree Kels ease up on the vodka. I will indeed join you gals for your water challenge, and night-owl, I'm gonna take your lead and also do 2.5 M&T then work my way up to 3l. I'm off CD as I don't have anymore packs and my CD hasn't been re-supplied... doesn't that suck? so nothing until Wed, I really have to be good!! will try to come on often this weekend, so that I don't go too "off-plan"
 
That's awful! How can your CDC not have ANY packs?! They are supposed to have a full stock at all times. And why do you have to wait until Wednesday??????? Stocks are delivered next day!!! Disgraceful. Go back on the CD website and see if there is another CDC near you.

Awww what a nightmare nowthing worse than having no packs when your into it!! Have you got sorted over the weekend with some. x
 
Morning Girls,

Well it's a nice sunny day today & Started CD as a fresh start, had 1l of tea so far & on my 1st litre of water..

I weighed in at 12.8lb this morning so need to lose 15lb for my 1st mini goal..

Today I am gonna bleach my teeth.. Will do a before and after see how it goes.. I remember asking bout this at the dentist but they said my teeth is in the 1st couple of shades of white anyway so I probably wouldnt benefit from it, well I am gonna try & do it myself see if I can go lighter....

Well this kit seems to be ok, Cant see a massive differenc but my teeth feel better & look shinier, may try again tomoro, its from America, I remember looking at it when I was over there, wish I bought some now..

Well I have had 2l of tea & 2l of water, will drink another before bed..

That's 5 litres, Kel!!! Knew I should never done a water challenge with you! You weren't leader of the Water Babes for nothing. Speaking of which, I have just come back from an advanced swimming lesson. I wonder if that counts? Only managed 2 litres today. Tomorrow is another day...

Ha Ha, Well I only managed 4l altogether then.. Eeehhh yeah surely if you swallowed any water that counts towards your intake, lol..

I try not to, but it just makes me wonder if I do as you always need to go after a swim. Done one and half litres of chlorine-free H2O so far so hopefully get 2 and a half today. Weigh in tomorrow. Went to a Pilates class. I'm gonna ache in the morning. I can feel it already.

Had 1l so far, gonna have some oss in a bit as I am starving this morning, I craved for a wispa all day yesterday & ended up having a yoghurt..

Feeling very dizzy when I get up, started yesterday, Got up quick & had to sit back down my head was swimming, Anyone else feel like that?

Well muscle weighs more than fat hun so your bought to go up & pilates is all about muscle exercises etc isnt it? Only ever done it a few times.

Still keep going dizzy, well I know I am dizzy anyway but thats beside the point!! lol.. :rolleyes:

I'm only 5ft 3 so I need to be 10 stone to have a BMI of 25. Ideally I would like to be just under, about 9 stone 10. As I said, 10 2 is the lowest I have got to before it started going up again. Never seen the 9's.

Dizzy every morning does not sound good. Tell your CDC.
 
Well I am an Honest person so gonna own up, Been crap today, This is what I have had!! :mad: :mad:

4l of Tea
2l of Water
1 Oats So Simple
1 Muller Yoghurt
5 Ritz with Low Fat Philly & Coleslaw
3 Choc Biscuits
2 Fruit Shortcake Biscuits

OMG why did I do it, I will weigh in the morning & probably put on the weight I have lost!! Grrrrrr..

I know exactly what it is, I am stuck at home in my room & its just boredom..
Since being on the dole every day its been the same routine ~ Tidy up full house while mam is at work, Check e-mails, go on Internet, list on Ebay, Do Avon bits, thats all.. So on the nights I see Keith its just waiting for him to finish work so I can get sorted & go over his..
Its Keiths Last day tomorrow at work (been made redundant) so I have 2 weeks with him until I start my new job (very nervous) So We have decided we gonna gutt his room as it needs doing & also give the cars a good clean inside & out so I will be ok with food for the next 2 weeks as I will be busy all the time & not stuck in the house bored wanting to eat..

I really wanna book a holiday before I start my job to & I really wanna go back to Florida for the 3rd & last year in a row!! :rolleyes: Trying to persuade Keith as next year I am hoping we are in a house trying for a baby, so we wont get there for years! I just love the place sooooo much..

Will check in the morning with the damage!! Ooopsss..

My mate is your height & you can tell quickly when she has put weight on with her not being tall..

How do you keep on track hun, I am really finding it hard this time around! Why I dont know.. :(
