A weekly challenge sounds good.

Frances, good to see back again. Nice to have someone close to lose weight with.

Gem, for my day off i usually have a shake for brekkie, head into town, shop then pub lunch. I am a creature of habit so always go to the same pub for home cooked, fresh grub. Before CD, i always had a a chilli cheeseburger , chips, coleslaw, onion rings and a diet irn-bru.
I still have the chilli cheeseburger but i don't have chips or the bun and have a salad instead with coleslaw and the onion rings.
The burger is a proper aberdeen angus burger and the chilli they pour over is burning hot which i love and i remove the kidney beans cause they are yuck lol

I usually treat myself to a small cake in the evening or an atkins cappucino and nut bar, mmm yummy.

So, no calorie counting and just trying to limit the carbs.

Works for me but obviously not for everyone. My losses are not any different when i have that day off.

It keeps me sane TBH.

Enlighten, i am on 810. I started on ss for the first week and moved right up. It suits me and doesn't leave me feeling deprived.

WOW, a day off? without the guilty feeling? I'd love it. I may give it a try later if I feel stumped/deprived. I'm not sure I'd have the self-control to stop just there. And your cake? ist it like a regular all calorie, all fat cake or a special "light cake"? I'm just really curious how you maintain such self control!!! Good going, and as you say, it works for you
 
Basically you just send your current weight and loss each week (in lbs) to moi and I will send it on to Irene so she can work out which team wins with the highest percentage loss.

Each week we have a Slimmer of the Week on the team as well as out of all the teams.

Anyone who doesn't post for two weeks will be replaced unless they arrange it beforehand e.g. holidays, medical etc.

There will be a deadline for results but I won't set that until I find out the deadline for posting them to Irene.

So looking forward to getting started!!! x
 
Hiya girls

I'm so sorry I haven't been around for a while, my new job is stressing me out lately been working over everyday..
I am back on CD for a few weeks as I wanna go on holiday in October.
Thanks gem for getting in touch, I really could do with the extra support, I got weighed beginning of the week at 12.11 so 1st weighing next week, although i am not sticking to it 100% as I havent got enough packs for 3 a day but just having fruit too.
So fingers crossed...
I haven't been on my laptop for weeks so will have to try & update daily from my phone, when I get chance I will try & catch up with everyone's posts.

Good to be back girls, it keeps me on the straight & narrow when I have people for support & advice..

Wow! I've just gone back to the first posts on this thread and it seems I am the only original member of this team left AND I've been a member of it for just over 2 YEARS!!!

Well this is when I seem to struggle on the weekends!
I don't drink as much water when I am at home.
Does anyone else feel like this?

Been decorating my room over past couple of weeks, so been sorting out my shoes, make up etc. The amount of stuff I have is shocking, lol.

Had the most awful day yesterday at work, I could of cried with the workload I had, I didn't leave till after 7pm it's beyond a joke.

I really wanna book a holiday tomorrow I need something to look forward to. I know I will be even more stressed when I get back but at least I will chilled out for 2 weeks.

Water isn't ever a problem for me, it's food!! picking bits here and there (well not this week), i'm not sure how much it impacts my weightloss as it's usually no more than 30g of chicken whites but STILL, I can't seem to control this habit.
 
We scarcely have enough food in the house for my OH so if I did pick, I'd be taking food out of his mouth!

I don't pick but I just hate water. I've been having Tesco Strawberry Still Water and the apple one too. No citric acid (malic instead). It keeps me in ketosis and is much nicer than plain tap water!

My losses have remained good so it can't be bad!

Hey all, it's 4lbs for me this week. I'm OK with it i guess, I messed around my second week, so didn't have spectacular losses, I'm hoping to at least hit 1.5 stones for the first month.

Could you all PM me your previous weight from last week, current weight and this week's loss so I can start getting ready for the Team Challenge? I'll be able to say who our Slimmer of the Week is in the meantime xxx
 
Hi Kel, nice to see you again. Well done on your loss.

Just 1lb off this week for me. That's a bugger as i have a couple of nights out this weekend and birthday meal out.
Oh well, i will try and make wise choices and really try not to drink too much!!!!

I was hoping my bmi would be in the overweight category this week. Doubt it will be next week either. Never mind, it will be soon:)

Morning

Well I am doing ok so far this week but really need to drink more water, I am setting myself a goal of 3 litres a day as I use a 1.5 bottle so need to drink 2 before I go home from work.
Still not 100% on cd, still having apples, OSS etc but it seems to be working for me anyhow..

Doesn't look like we gonna be going to Florida in 3 weeks either as the prices have flew up. So bit gutted.. :-(
