The VERY LAST re-start!!

Hi Jan,
no sorry, missed that, just saw it now.
Yes I'll definitely do a reccy and report back what's happening.
Was Marino's the one on the right as you go down the main street with the sea straight ahead of you? Quite a large man, as I remember. I used to go in there for an English paper.
So sad to read on the Kef board that he had passed away.
I'll let you (and U4ea) know. xx

Yes that's the one Cathy! He was really lovely.

Thanks for that! xxx

You're nearly there now Cathy!

I admire how determined you are, you're a real inspiration. :)

well done cathy on coming back
Your weight losses look amazing and you started about the same as I am now... have you done anything different to drinking water and the packets?

Thanks Helen and MrsHill2B,
The only thing I've done other than LT is walk to work.

I work in 2 different hospitals, I usually do a day in one, then a day in the other.
One is a 25 min walk from home, so that's an hour each day. The other is a 35-40 min walk, so about an hour and 20 mins each day when I'm there.
I needed to exercise, but really didn't fancy the gym or anything like that.
The longer walk is not nice at all, I have to go through a crummy part of the city and probably add extra distance by having to do a "slalom" around the nasties on the pavements, like dog muck ("barkers eggs"), Sick, ("pavement pizzas" )and lots of spit  (why is it that young lads and men continually spit everywhere? :wave_cry:)
I need to tone up though, bits of me are very sad and saggy (I look like a festoon blind without my clothes on!!:8855:)
Still, I think I'd rather be like this, coz dressed, I don't look so bad.
Be glad when I've finished, only 10-14 days to go now!

I'm a nurse, well I'm a Macmillan Cancer Support and Information Manager to be totally accurate!
I started this in Dec 2007 and run two drop-in Information and Support centres, one in the Royal Lpool University Hosp. and one in Broadgreen Hosp.
Prior to that I was a Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Breast Unit for 18 years and before that a ward sister. Been at it since I was 17!
You've made a great choice, nursing is a wonderful career, best of luck to you. Are you going to do it in Plymouth?
