Thinking ahead: food habits when you reach your goal?

Well I suppose I've been thinking a little too far ahead, but I keep thinking about the efforts / will power put in on this diet and how I will fare when back in the food arena

Anyway, the big problem I have with food is that I love junk food far too much. The thing is that I quite like good home cooked food too but I am lazy and unorganised when it comes to food and its preparation. My husband is the :airquote:chef in our house but he has been studying evenings the last few years so I've been left to my own devices which was not good :)

Anyway, I've been thinking ahead and how I am going to cope with maintenance when I get to my goal. I know from previous experience I do well with food when I plan ahead for the week and I think it is important to plan in treats as much as good healthy options and it always gave me something to look forward to and more likely to keep me on the straight and narrow where food is concerned if I could say no to something today because I was having x tomorrow.

The problem with planning is that after a while I get lax / bored with it so my find myself slipping back into bad habits after a while of nothing sensible in the fridge.

So that is another goal I have to get more structured in my life in general over the next few months and hopefully that will also spill into my food habits once I start reintroducing food :)
