Thing is I know that i have to do it this time... am sitting here now with my lumpy banana mousse lolol
I have just cooked the families weekend treat tea.. (junk tea allowed once a week) It was tough becuase it was cheese burger, chips and salad.. one of my fave dinners... I cookedit but was spared serving as couldnt risk lifting in and out of the oven or carrying the pans..
But the smelll.......
Mind you... I saw the greasy kitchen towel that patted the burgers,, and i am glad I am not eating it really....
Am going on line now to do some window shopping...
Have seen some beautiful dresses around recently and am so tempted to buy some size 12's!!!

Well everyone, can't beleive it's the weekend already.
My back is feeling a bit better today, am still being very very careful with it as terrified of pulling it again, but I can move about a bit more today.

Did the mortal sin of stepping on the scales this morning and not much movement, but I know I am doing the plan 100% so at some time it has to come off.
Am going to try and increase fluids again today to see if that makes a difference. Then again still have two whole days before weigh on, so maybe my body will dump it off on sunday night :D
The weather is beautiful today and I would love to go for a walk, but can't do that because of back, so am just going to potter for a while.

hey honey. so sorry to hear about your injury. i really hope you get to feeling better soon.

as for the scales not budging much, well after a massive first week loss sometimes our bodies readjust for a bit. secondly with an injury you'll be retaining water and your body will be holding on to all the energy it can get to heal. and third, some painkillers make us retain water. so don't worry about it. it will go, the fat is still burning off, your body just wants an indoor swimming pool right now :D

Thx Abz, I have taken more water on board today to try to counteract the retention thing. Also not had meds today... lots of hot baths and wearing a heat pad permenently right now.

I am sooooooo peed off though..... My tumble dryer just blew up... I mean really blew up!!!!
No money to replace so have to dry washing the old fashioned way!!!
Thing is, I do about 3 lots of washing each day so this is going to keep me busy!
Anyway... am just waiting for my last shake to finish solidifying as a mousse in the fridge, Easter bunny came early in our house so have been surrounded by choc all day.. I have a big family so the kids get too many eggs so I try to get them to eat the lot in one weekend... whats left gets chucked (same at christmas - any choc left 1st Jan goes in the bin) I feel like spoiling myself but am broke so the mousse is going to have to do!

Well Happy Easter to you all!!
I hope that we all have a wonderful day today, peaceful in the Knowledge that although Chocolate flows freely everywhere today, each and everyone of us is strong enough to know that we don't *need* the chocolate, and we don't even *want* the chocolate.
I for one feel really good today, the weather is beautiful and I am hoping my back allows me to get out for a while and go for a walk.
I am really looking toward weigh day tomorrow, I am determined not to get too het up if the figures aren't phenomenal, but I would love to lose 3.5 to bring my loss into double figures....
The magic number for me, will be when i get down to the 13 somethings.... No diet has taken me that low and I know that once I get down to those figures, I am on the home run... even though it is a way from my target...
Have been starting to look at clothes lately, Ihave always havd a very definite style of clothes that I love to wear, I have however not worn them for many many years because I just haven't felt worthy..
It's sort of like, I love smart classic clothes, and love vintage clothes, but have not wanted to spoil how beautiful I know they could look, so for years and years, I have lived in casual trousers, joggers, tshirts etc... This is so not me, and as I look at and think of what I am writing, it almost seems ludicrous that I have let it go this long before being in a position to do something about it.
I suppose it's all to do with something else thats happening in my life, as that has blown open and as I have seen someone I cared for in a new light, I suppose I am alos able to let go of other bits of 'rubbish' in my life.
Gosh... I feel like an addict who is coming clean LOLOL

Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful day today whether it be with friends or family.

I know what you mean about being an addict who is coming clean. I am on a crazy psychological journey right now, and it came out of nowhere. In the last 3 weeks I have changed how I view the world completely. I have ended a somewhat destructive 10 year relationship, I have made my peace with my feelings of anger etc about it, I have suddenly realised that the only person holding me back from everything I want in life is me, I have conquered some personal demons, I have started on the road towards CD, I think there is something in the water! :)

(and have you noticed that always use naff chocolate in Easter eggs!!! not even quality stuff!)

I am glad I am not aloner Paula, I too am seperating from my hubby, I love him to bits, and he me, but we are not good together. I need to work on my issues and find who I really am instead of resenting the world around me for everything that goes on....

Oh I hear you... loud and clear. It's been my decision to end the relationship, and he is devastated. It's not that I don't love him.. I just finally love me more. If that makes sense.

i am surrounded by sweeties!! me and OH went to the cinema before i started cd and i couldn't really eat much of my pick and mix, and neither could he. so he has a lot of it to eat now and they seem to be EVERYWHERE and my tub of course is full of my favourite sweeties that i didn't eat :( and now of course i wish i had, ha.

ah well. in a couple of months i'll be able to sample one or two again :)

Funny, I can't stand Choc so am not struggling today at all over choc (or sweeties ;) ) but I am broke so can't go shopping, Oh and no shops open anyway! In pain so I can't go for a walk so am stuck in watching second rate TV programmes....

Soooooo bored today...
 
the weather is so fab today that im not even thinking about chocolate atm im more concentrating on getting my 5 loads of washing done !!!

i totally didn't really consider it was easter sunday. me and OH usually forget to do the egg thing in any case. and one of my friends got me a teeny hotel chocolat one that i had the day before starting cd, ha.

hope your day got a bit better hon? i'm stuck at work with a bad back, cd day 3 head and no sleep... but i'll perk up :D

Hi Everyone!!!
Well Got back from my CDC and am very proud to report a lovely loss of 3lb!!!! That gives me 11lb in 11days (because my first week was a 4 day week)
So next week should see my first stone gone forever..
From CDC went straight to look for a new rotary clothes line then took little one to Hobby craft, so whilst daddy puts together a new fort for him, I am having a few well deserved minutes rest and another glass of water:)
Am just going to read the LL magazine as although the diets are different I prefer their mag to the CD one, as I thinks it's a biot more substantial!!!
Can we all campaign CD to bring out a better magazine and a monthly one? I'm sure that they would have enought o fill it twice over!
Anyway going to sort my ticker.. then have a read of forum..
