Time for an update!!!!100lbs+ gone.....

Hi All,

Been lurking so (prompted by a Hello from Gorgeous Porgeous:D) thought I would say hello!!

Back in the world of food, I must be honest and say I have not found it easy. I have been 'loosely' following 1000/1200 and had a couple of big carb run-in's (don't ask:eek:)....however....I must say I am glad to be back at the gym (4/5 times a week) I missed that buzzy/sweaty feeling!!
I am trying to not stress too much about food, there was some twisted thinking creeping in (ate some bread...have I put on weight....ate a sweet...have I put on weigh...guilt, guilt, guilt!!!).....the solution for me has been the gym, i.e "have it....but work it off".
Seems to be working as I have lost another 4lbs.....
BREAKING THE 100LBS BARRIER!!!!
I am off to the USA next week and cannot wait:D....bringing my gym kit as the hotel has a gym.....anyway...enough of the rambling!!!

I think the eating gaining thing is all par for the course. I remember the same feelings myself and my hubby thought I had lost the plot!! It's all part of the learning curve or as my Dad would say "all part of life's rich tapestry"!

4lbs!! There's just no stopping you girl!!

Sooo jealous of your forthcoming hollybobs and seriously impressed with the gyming. I think I need to invent me a sachet that turns me into a fitness fanatic.. I could be a millionaire!!

Excuse my language but F**K ME G with a body like that in your pics I don't think you really need the gym...."boomchikkawowow"!!!!!
I have learnt some valuable lessons though:
Carbs...OMG...made my stomach blow up like a bowling ball!
Must keep up the water to 4ish ltrs a day or I retain and my extremeties(sp?)swell up!
Keeping a food diary helps me to realise i'm not eating as much as I think I am....also helps me keep the balance of carbs/protein right!
Relax....1 bad day does not mean I will wake up 100lbs heavier:rolleyes:
Early days......but I am happy:D!!

LOL, believe me the full technicolour version wobbles.... I will go to the gym, I will go to the gym, I will go to the gym... nope not working!

I could have written that myself - yep swallowed a beach ball when I have carbs but I love em so still have em! Food diaries rule, wouldn't be without one and yes yes yes one day does not a 100lb gain make.

Congrats on getting to over 100 lbs lost - that is a major achievement!!! :wow: And just totally in awe of what you have managed to do :clap:

Wow wow wow!!! 100lbs is such an incredible achievement. In total I have 195lbs to lose (well less now, but that's what I started with) and I can only dream of the day I get to 100lb down! But posts like yours really inspire me that I can do it, so thank you for deciding to come out of lurking and share this with us!

wow - that is amazing.

i really love exersise too, used to go 4 times a week to an areobis class, all diff,and loved the way it made me feel. stopped, put on weight and got bigger and bigger,
lost 2 ston now so as soon as my little boy goes back to school in sept gonna start again.

bit worried about maintaining, and worried about feeling like you say, but not there yet so worry about that at the time!!

well done again - you must be so proud of your self!! x
