I'm not very good at things like this but my friend said it might help to share how I am feeling so I though I would give it a go.

I started the CD diet on Monday after my friend had lost a lot of weight on it a few months back. I have tried every diet there is and I can't stick to them as I always end up cheating.

I want to lose weight so that I can be me on the outside as well as on the inside (yes I talk crap sometimes) I don't want to feel like everyone is looking at me and thinking that I'm a big fat lazy bum. I want to shop in the same shops as my friends and not have to go shopping on my own to the big girls shops. It might sound like I want a lot but I know it's possible

My week has not been so bad although I had a few low point when I didn't like the shake or soup I was having. I am limmitted to what I will have (only 5 shakes that I like and no soups) I still think I can do it though and I like the idea of losing weight having 3 choc shakes a day :)

My task this weekend is to think of my goals, I've just been taking it day by day this week. I want to set some minni goals so I'm not wating forever to achive my target of losing 9st ( on my I just thought, I need to lose a person in weight)

Sorry for going on but I do feel better now :)

Hun to succeed in this diet you need to give it 100% to get the weight off, if you cheat it will slow the loss down !
If you feel yourself wanting to eat either come online and talk to us, or go in the arcade if no one is around....the arcade has saved me many a time and I certainly wouldnt be nearly 7 stone down if it wasnt for this site.

Thinking of it day by day or even hour by hour is definately the way to go.

Good luck hun, we are here for you !

And try not to look at the whole amount you need to lose and instead have mini goals like one st off etc. And one day at a time and on a bad day an hour or even half an hour at a time. It is very hard. But with determination you will get there. Also have a look at the slide show of pics. I think it is very inspirational

I had never done anything like sharing my thoughts or VLCD's before I started CD and it does help.

One day at a time, and also try new shakes as and when, most people find their tastes change, I hated most of them at first!!!!

    Good luck x

    I am over the moon

I know I will not lose that mucg every week but it has really helped me keep on track and no give up. I am more determined that ever now.

Any way have to go . . . got some water to drink.

    Well done you!!!

That's why I can succeed on this type of diet and no other, because the levels of weight loss keep you motivated - and it's all about motivation at the end of the day!!

Congratulations on your huge first week loss Notbigboned:D

As for the shakes situation, I have lived on choc & choc mint only for the last couple of months and have only recently tried the chilli soup again and found I can actually have that now (not too often though).

Keep drinking the water and good luck for the coming week.

    Take care X
