tips to make soups nice

Hi all

I've just started having soups on CD, I like the flavours and I'm making them up like it says on the packs, but they're coming out lumpy which is a big let down.

It says not to use a blender on the packs, so does anyone have any magic tips?

Hello Mandy, and welcome to CWP. Apart from the Spicy Tomato soup, you can use a whisk or blender carefully all the other soups. I always add a few dashes of tabaso sauce.

Oh yeah i could not last without my little Aerolatte whisk! It comes with a box too so you can pop it in your bad and make soups at work or even in a cafe if you ask for a cup of hot water. Here is a link to the one i got from Amazon xx

i use a hand (stick) blender with the soups, except tomato. it's fine.

no problem axagem they are amazing i have had mine a year they just go and go and make the soups soooooo nice nom nom nom! There are alot of cheaper ones but they dont come with the little box and i find the box is really handy to put in ya bag without a mess or worry or breaking it! Hope you enjoy xx

hang on why cant we use blenders? ive always used a blender for all my shakes :S

ive just used a stick blender on my soup and shakes earlier and they were fine - does anyone know if i am able to use black pepper in the soup?

Thanks for the tip about the aerolatte whisk, I've ordered one. It says on the back of the soup packs not to use a blender. Tabasco is made from peppers, so if that's ok I'm sure black pepper is too!
