Me too I cannot stand lumps in shakes. So do you have any horses? My 12yr old daughter will be starting to go with an old friend of mine who has horses and be shown the ropes in stable care and learn about grooming soon over at the stable in Stanmore. She is looking forward to it as she is wanting to become a Vet.Not bad today - it's tomorrow I'm slightly worried about as I'm at a horse show for most of the day and won't have access to a plug for my blender, and cannot STAND lumpy shakes mixed any other way! Think I'll have to have an early breakfast one (like, 6.30am!), drink lots of water all day and hopefully be home by 2-3pm anyway. Bit worried though! I will take a babybel in case of serious wobblyness (will be very active) but will try my utmost not to need it.

She's 12yrs of age and i still remember the day she said to 'Mummy when i grow up i want to be animal Doctor and want to work pets, tigers, lion, elephants, dragons, fish.......' she was 2 1/2yrs old and has not had a change of mind of what she wants.hey there!
How's the arthritis today? my mum just had an op for hers, carbon fibres put in her spine and fused two of the vertebraes together. She suffered somethin shocking prior to that op so i have every sympathy for you. Congrats on even being on the diet when you have that on ya plate already!! Not only does this diet actually shed the pounds, but in my opinion i feel it puts a bit of magical self belief back in yourself n strengthens your character up when you realise you have will power and discipline that exceeds 99% of everyones expectations I call it "the victory V"
I missed my weigh in last week, and then realised that the sweeteners i was taking werent okay so when i went to be weighed today i wasnt highly optimistic. But my word i've had an early christmas! I've lost 9lbs in past two weeks! There's a massive suprise for the books!!! I had to insist on a second reading before i started singing a christmas carol lol!
Your results are fantastic btw! keep up the amazing work! i've been a lot slower on this diet but i've a smaller margin to lose than some, but we're all in the same boat as its the same experiences and same diet no matter how much we've to lose?
Good luck to your daughter, how old is she? work experience wise she will need to spend at least a day at an abbatoir, be up to date on defra rules and regs, knowledge on common vaccinations like parvo n be able answer questions on them, large animal exp, small animal exp in vet surgeries. Get at least AAB at a level (mandatory A in chem). And also on application prove she has a life - eg. have outside interests, running club/plays an instrument/duke of edinburgh award scheme. But its not impossible, just start planning early and if she doesnt get the grades there's alternative jobs in the animal world pls remind her of that x
you have not bored me in the slightest. My baby brother was at Nott. Uni doing his Doctorate and is now working in a hospital by Essex where he's studying some extra specialised modules but intends to go back to Northwick Pk Hosp. My third Brother is starting uni soon to be a Doc aswell bit of a big change from the family business (gold/ diamondsmithing) he'll be going to I think Bristol or Cardiff but am really not too sure which.I do a lot of different things but currently studying Advanced Veterinary nursing. I wanted to be a vet, same as your daughter was bandaging my teddies and wanted to be an animal doctor and Doctor dolittle n talk to the animals lol. But i'm dyslexic and struggled to get 3As and a B at a level. I've done tracheometry, keyhole surgery techniques, xrays, all sorts of stuff (look up nottingham uni for your daughter, they do simulation residential weekends, called vet sim i think. highly valuable even experience alone for her). I'm a marine mammal medic, so on call for that and look after seals on beaches. Or if have oil spill get my hands mucky in cleanup!! (very sad). She can do that course at nottingham too.
I did 3 years in the army, and am a ACF instructor for the cadets now, in spare time. I used to model professionally and backing dance. However i broke my leg, which caused me to put a lot of weight on and lose that work. Hence i came on lipotrim! And actually i've my broken leg and lipotrim to thank for me to thank giving me the time to change career n go back to my animal roots! was long winded answer but hope i covered everythin, sorry if i've bored anyone to tears!! x
You have lost a fair bit so I wouldn't beat yourself up over it and in my eyes as long as you lose the preferable minimum of 2lbs per week then that 2lbs gone and are closer to getting to your goal.I love a thread like this.. it helps you connect and learn more about each other.
I've spent time in the garden on my sun lounger today so I'm a happy bunny. Feeling a bit blue as far as the diet is concerned. In my first two weeks I lost a stone but this week I feel as though I've shifted nothing at all and my scales (although far from accurate) tell me I've lost just 2lbs. I'm not in ketosis.. or at least my ketosticks tell me I'm in the lower limits which I know isn't good for this diet.
I'm not sure why it's happened as I'm drinking at least 3ltrs a day if not more.
Weigh in tomorrow though so I'll be able to ask the pharmacist about it.
