I usually go for the mid range ones, do you have a special running shop where you live? The one by me will analyse your running gait and the position of your feet and figure out the best shoes for you and then you can choose one in your price range.

Yeah you need to get shoes for the way you run, I think it's either over or under pronating?

I always get mine from Nike.

Not plugging it but we've got an outlet near us and they tell you what each trainer is intended for ie, running, tennis etc.

I always find Nike to be good value too!

Whoa! I'd love to do something like that but I'm crap at running lol! I forget to breathe and feel like quitting after 2 mins.

People's feet pronate in different ways. If you think you'll carry on with running, you really need to go to a running shop and get shoes fitted .They won't be cheap but you can ask about earlier models. If you don't have proper shoes for running that suit your style, you really do risk a lot of injury. Unfortunately I am speaking from experience.
